EAT OUT FOR LESS:
Tom Kerridge Restaurant Group
At the start of the financial crisis in 2008, Tom Kerridge created a ‘too good to be true’ set menu to help diners eat out for less. Now we’re in the midst of the cost of living crisis, Kerridge has relaunched the menu at three of his restaurants: Kerridge’s Bar & Grill at the Corinthia, the Michelin-starred Coach in Marlow, and the Bull & Bear in Manchester. The two-course set lunch menu costs £15 – a third course is an additional £7.50. Diners can tuck into pub grub and comforting school dinner classics like cottage pie, lasagne, and sausages and mash, followed by spotted dick, jam roly-poly or crumble and custard.
