UPLOAD YOUR PHOTO FOR CHARITY HERE: Take A Moment
Over 250 personalities have endorsed the use of their images – taken by photographer Ray Burmiston – for a new exhibition from mental health charity Mind. ‘Take A Moment’ has been curated using a decade of outtakes from Ray's studio, hundreds of moments where he’s asked his subjects to close their eyes for a few seconds, to refresh their connection with the camera. Now, along with selfies from the public, Ray hopes it will expand from hundreds of photos to thousands while raising funds and awareness for Mind. There are three ways that you can join the movement: pay £3 to upload your own image to the grid; donate £30 to purchase an authenticated print; or pay £300 for a custom, authenticated and signed print of your choice. At least 90% of each sale will be donated to Mind.

WATCH THIS: On The Rocks
Acclaimed filmmaker Sofia Coppola brings a light touch to this exuberant love letter to New York. On The Rocks is a generation-clash comedy about how we see relationships differently from our parents, and a funny celebration of the complications that bind modern families even as they tie us in knots. Laura (Rashida Jones) thinks she’s happily hitched, but when her husband Dean (Marlon Wayans) starts logging late hours at the office with a new co-worker, Laura begins to fear the worst. She turns to the one man she suspects may have insight: her charming, impulsive father Felix (Bill Murray), who insists they investigate the situation. As the two begin prowling New York at night, careening from uptown parties to downtown hotspots, they discover at the heart of their journey lies their own relationship.

READ THIS: Essex Girls by Sarah Perry
Essex Girls is a new read from the bestselling author of The Essex Serpent. In this feminist defence of the Essex girl, Sarah Perry re-examines her relationship with her much-maligned home county. She summons its most unquiet spirits, from Protestant martyr Rose Allin to the indomitable Abolitionist Anne Knight, sitting them alongside Audre Lorde, Kim Kardashian and Harriet Martineau, and showing us that the Essex girl is not bound by geography. She is a type, representing a very particular kind of female agency, and a very particular kind of disdain: she contains a multitude of women, Perry argues – and it’s time to celebrate them.
