Wild Feasts at Oxmoor Farm
Oxmoor Farm in Buckinghamshire has launched a series of supper clubs. Over the next few months, various chefs will visit the estate to host a Wild Feast where diners can enjoy a sit-down dinner with English wines under an al fresco canopied restaurant, followed by post-dinner cocktails by the fire. On Saturday 23rd July, Brendan Eades (head chef at The Conduit Club) will host a seven-course dinner using local produce and cooked over the fire, followed by an evening from chefs Xanthe Gladstone and Clare Cole on Saturday 6th August. Tickets cost £80pp and include a complimentary return shuttle service from High Wycombe station.

Regular SL readers will know we rate Psycle’s high-intensity spin classes, so we were pleased to hear it’s created a reformer Pilates class at its Oxford Circus studio. Classes start on Monday 25th July and involve a range of stretches and exercises on a state-of-the-art bed. The high-intensity workout helps to stimulate muscle definition, strengthen and sculpt the body (especially the core, back, glutes, hamstrings and quads), promote fat loss and release stress.

Bombay Bustle’s Weekend Chillies
Bombay Bustle, sister to Michelin-starred Jamavar, has created a ‘Weekend Chillies’ brunch. From Saturday 23rd of July, diners can enjoy Indian brunch dishes every weekend and shop beautiful table linens, mats, runners and napkins created in collaboration with Dandelion Living. Menu highlights include ‘pork sorpotel’ – pickled pulled pork with poached eggs, cheddar hollandaise and warm curry leaf brioche; ‘uttapam mutta roast’ featuring free-range eggs, rice pancakes and tomato chutney; and a trio of dosas and Bombay sandwiches. There’s also a set menu featuring a range of authentic dishes with dessert and cocktails like the ‘Frangipani’ made with vodka, elderflower, homemade citrus chamomile and soda.

Closer at Lyric Hammersmith Theatre
A new production of Closer has just opened at Hammersmith’s Lyric Theatre. Since its 1997 premier, the play has won an Olivier Award and been put on in more than 200 cities across the world. Now, it’s been adapted by Clare Lizzimore (Mint, The Rage) and is set in the chaos of London. Four strangers meet, fall in love and fall apart. It’s about longing, lust, sex, and desire – and betrayal when the lines between lovers and friends are blurred. Starring Jack Farthing, Ella Hunt, Nina Toussaint-White and Sam Troughton. Grey Goose has opened a summer terrace at Albie at The Hoxton, Southwark. The terrace has been transformed into a green space where diners can relax with botanical spritzes and choose dishes from a new summer menu. Herboo, Sage Flowers and The Collage Club have decked out the space with greenery, tropical plants and a herb garden in collaboration with Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST), a charity which aims to introduce more greenery into local urban spaces. Choose from cocktails like the ‘Southwatermelon Basil Martini’ made with Grey Goose Essences Watermelon & Basil and the ‘Peach-Mary Spritz’ featuring Grey Goose Essences White Peach & Rosemary, before sampling new dishes like smoked white peaches with caramelised goats’ cheese, fried chicken sliders with jalapeno mayo and watermelon salsa, and tomato bruschetta with pickled strawberries and prosciutto.
