Vardy v Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial
If you’ve been hooked on the celeb scandal of the decade that is the Wagatha Christie trial involving Colleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy, this new play will be right up your street. Originally set for a one-off performance at Wyndham’s Theatre in the West End, it’s been extended due to popular demand, with extra dates added in November, December and January. Written by Liv Hennessy, the script has been adapted from the trial’s high court transcript in which both women were embroiled in sting operations and sensational headlines that turned social media sleuthing into high drama. Audiences will see first hand, and in the words of Vardy and Rooney, how the extraordinary week in court played out. Tickets start from £10.
Charing Cross Road, West End, WC2H 0DA; various dates

GET YOUR CULTURE FIX:
Elephant at Bush Theatre
Elephant is a powerful new one-woman play, written by and starring Anoushka Lucas (Oklahoma!). Lucas is Lylah, an awkward teenager who would rather play her piano all day than socialise with the kids at school or make friends at the weekend. At school, she can’t ask questions – she has to behave or else she’ll lose her scholarship. At home, she can’t ask questions either. Her cousins say she talks weird, and her parents are distracted, so she asks her piano: where did you come from? Why are you here? And their shared history tumbles into the light. Tickets start from £30.
7 Uxbridge Road, Shepherd’s Bush, W12 8LJ; until Saturday 12th November
