The installation boasts a canopy of preserved autumnal leaves in rich oranges and burnt reds, soft pink branches and berries to offer guests a cosy getaway. The restaurant has embraced the changing season with a rustic new-look menu, while Head Pastry Chef Chris Dodd has created an autumnal afternoon tea menu, which celebrates all things apple. GO TO A LEGENDARY PARTY POP-UP HERE: Bungalow Blakes
After the huge success of the Bungalow Blakes pop-up nightclub during London Fashion Week (Kate Moss, Jade Jagger, Alice Temperley and Charlotte Tilbury all partied hard), Amy Sacco is set to return to Blakes Below for a second takeover during Frieze London this week. TAKE AFTERNOON TEA HERE: Savage Garden
New rooftop bar Savage Garden has launched an afternoon tea with a difference. The ‘Savage Tea’ begins with daring savouries, including sweet potato sliders filled with coriander yoghurt, spicy peanut crumb and red onions; rare roast beef and fiery wasabi sandwiches; and smoked chicken and Korean ketchup tacos with spring onions, chillies and sesame seeds. Savage scones – loaded with clotted cream and strawberry jam – follow, before a finale of black tea choux cake, cherry and coconut lamingtons and dark chocolate crémeux spheres. Gin cocktails such as the ‘Forbidden Fruit’ (Hendrick’s gin, apricot brandy, amaretto, lemon, sugar and grapefruit bitters) and ‘Twisted Lady’ (a sharing cocktail of Hendrick’s gin, lemon, elderflower, rose liqueur and Ayala champagne) complete the line-up.

BUY AFFORDABLE ART FOR A GOOD CAUSE HERE: Mount Street Editions by Frieze
This week, Mount Street is collaborating with art festival Frieze London to commission four leading UK-based female artists to produce limited-edition prints. These will be available to purchase (100 prints a day) for £50 from an exclusive customised vehicle positioned on the Mayfair street this week. The participating artists include Helen Cammock, winner of the 2018 MaxMara Prize for Women’s Art; France-Lise McGurn, whose wall painting was a standout of the recent Virginia Woolf exhibition at Tate St Ives; Renee So, acclaimed for her knitted and ceramic works investigating hybrid identities; and Zadie Xa, whose work is currently on view at MoMA PS1. The initiative will support two charities, Dress for Success and the Young Women’s Trust, which both provide vital support to women across the UK and empower them to achieve financial independence.

TRY A NEW BRUNCH HERE: Jamavar
This month Jamavar, the Michelin-starred Indian restaurant on Mount Street, is opening its doors on Sundays for the first time to welcome guests to The Royal Brunch. Featuring an indulgent feast of some of culinary director Surender Mohan’s favourite regal dishes, guests will be welcomed with a glass of Laurent Perrier La Cuvée champagne, before sitting down a trio of small starters including the likes of Chandni chowk ki aloo (spiced potato tikki, honey, yoghurt and white radish, complete with drizzles of tamarind and mint chutney), followed by a selection from the tandoor including shahi galouti kebab, a velvety lamb pattice with cardamom and saffron.

PLAY BINGO HERE: The Kitty Hawk
Following the success of its runs at The Vaults and Mecca Camden earlier this year, Bingo Academy is heading east for its autumn season. Starting this Saturday, City bar and eatery The Kitty Hawk will be transformed into a bingo training den, where novices and experts alike will have the chance to hone their skills. Guests will be taught the complex rules of bingo and shown advanced dabbing techniques while competing in real-life bingo games to win life-changing (if slightly ridiculous) prizes.
