The Great Night Out To Book This Month

The Lost Estate’s new experience for 2023, The Greatest Night of the Jazz Age, opened in March and fast became one of London's go-to events. After a handful of extensions due to popular demand, the team has just released its final dates. Here’s what to expect and how to book the best seats remaining.

Created in partnership with THE LOST ESTATE

The Greatest Night of the Jazz Age is the newest experience from the same team that created the five year sold-out festive event The Great Christmas Feast. Following a popular summer run, The Lost Estate has just extended the current show for the final time until 24th September – and tickets are on sale now. Whether you’re looking for something fun to book for date night or just want to get the girls together, here’s what to expect from the final performances.

WHAT TO EXPECT…

The Greatest Night of the Jazz Age gives guests the chance to travel back to 1930s New York and relive the outrageous true story of Belle Livingstone’s Manhattan nightclub on 58th Street. A night of wild dancing, Prohibition cocktails, Manhattan-style feasting and hot jazz awaits those who book. A truly immersive experience, it’s like a West End production, where guests are seated inside the set, rather than watching it from the stalls.

WHILE YOU WATCH…

As well as live performances and moonshine to sip on, a full New York dining experience has been created by Ash Clarke, former exec chef for the Gordon Ramsay Group. Guests will start with smoked Alaskan salmon with fresh pea shoot salad, dill, lemon and caper cream cheese and crispbread, followed by a Lennox Avenue surf ’n’ turf  – a huge feasting selection of smokehouse BBQ chicken, Barty’s smoked ’n’ pulled rare-breed beef, truffle garlic shrimp mac, Astoria Waldorf salad, house pickles, 58th Street hot sauce, plus the likes of a Canal Street aubergine parmigiana and smoked portobello mushroom steak for veggies and vegans. For pudding, expect a selection of all-American classics – think Ms Belle’s very own Grand Central apple pie with bourbon caramel and homemade ices.

“A truly IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE, it’s like a West End production, where guests are seated INSIDE THE SET, rather than watching it from the stalls.”

Throughout the night, there will be the chance to experience Prohibition-era cocktails – we like the sound of the Arizona Kid (aged Mexican tequila, raspberry liqueur, lime, chilli pepper, preserved piquant pepper and agave) and the Daiquiri 58 (Embargo five-year, lime, grapefruit, maraschino and powdered sugar).

WHERE & WHEN…

You’ll find the experience at 9 Beaumont Avenue, West Kensington, W14 9LP – just a short walk from West Kensington tube station. The final performance will take place on 24th September and tickets are still available for August and September.

“Throughout the night, there’s the chance to experience PROHIBITION-ERA COCKTAILS– we like the sound of the tequila-filled Arizona Kid.”
