After two sold-out stints in London and Brighton, this chocolate-focused pop-up has returned to Brick Lane. Given its cocoa credentials, we imagine it’ll make a suitably grown-up treat for sweet-toothed adults this weekend. Expect a mouth-watering drinks menu filled with coco twists on classic cocktails, including its signature, secretive ‘Chocolate Chocotini’. The bar also serves chocolate beer and chocolate wine, plus bottled beer and prosecco for those you fancy something less sweet. Tickets are best bought in advance and include 90 minutes in the bar, plus a cocktail.

ATTEND A MAD HATTER’S TEA PARTY HERE: Barts
This Easter, Barts will be decked out with an Alice in Wonderland theme for the Easter weekend. There'll be live entertainment on Thursday, a magician and ‘Mad Hatter's Tea Party’ on Sunday and fancy dress, face painting and themed cocktails throughout the weekend. Visitors will sip from mismatched teacups as they sample cocktails such as the ‘G&Tea Time’, made with Earl Grey-infused Oxley gin, apple and lemon juice, syrup and egg white; and the ‘Mad Hatter’ made with Oxley gin, peach liqueur, apple juice, lemon, fresh strawberry puree and topped with fizz. The headliner of the weekend is set to be ‘An Offer You Can’t Refuse’ which brings the US trend of mushroom-infused cocktails to the UK and adds a dash of CBD oil. Across the weekend, guests will be free to delve into Barts’ box of curiosities and throw on a mad hat from the fancy-dress box or have a Cheshire cat’s smile painted on by the resident face painter.

TRY A CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN HERE: Mr Fogg’s Residence
This weekend Phileas Fogg welcomes guests to his Mayfair abode – freshly decked out with daffodils and Easter displays – to experience the ultimate chocolate treat: a Bacardi Cuatro five-tier chocolate fountain. Flowing throughout the weekend, guests will be able to delve straight into the alcoholic chocolate fountain and fill their glasses. A ‘Rum Rabbit Rum’ cocktail will also be on offer: a sweet concoction of Bacardi Anejo Cuatro, nut liqueur, dark chocolate, smoked paprika syrup, lemon juice, orange and raspberry jam. The venue will also be serving up its ‘Mr Fogg’s Tipsy Tea’ on Saturday and Sunday, alongside a selection of sweet and savoury snacks.

DRINK EASTER COCKTAILS HERE: Mr Fogg’s House of Botanicals
Mr Fogg’s House of Botanicals is celebrating the bank holiday with a special Mount Gay Easter cocktail menu running all weekend. Guests can sip on an ‘Egg Scramble’ (Mount Gay XO, cacao liqueur and Zabaione, served in an edible chocolate egg), an ‘Colour Me Egg-cited’ (Mount Gay Black Barrel, Tokaj Cocci and peanut foam, served in a snifter dipped in pink chocolate) or the ‘Easterific Bunny’ (Mount Gay Black Barrel, Cacao Blanc, Orgeat, Cointreau Noir, double cream and a sprig of mint, served in a tin dipped in chocolate and topped with soda water). On Saturday and Sunday, the venue will be serving its ‘Easter Tipsy Blooming Tea’ – botanical-inspired cocktails accompanied by a selection of sweet and savoury Victorian delectables. Those looking for a more traditional Easter Sunday can order the kitchen’s Easter roast, with roast lamb and all the trimmings.

Street food operator Kerb heads to the Southbank Centre for a weekend dedicated to supporting the future of London’s street food. The ‘inKERBator Weekender’ will see 25 hot new traders battle it out in front of a daily panel of industry judges. Over five days, Londoners will be able to feast on £5 dishes from a curated line-up, ranging from the newest inKERBator batch to those who’ve successfully graduated the programme. We’re most looking forward to trying vegan Thai dishes served up by Greedy Khao, adventurous Aztec cuisine from Mexikings, and Filipino pittmasters Turo Turo. Visitors can complement their meals with cocktails from the East London Liquor Company and Square Root Soda, who’ll be pairing each of the 25 dishes with their own drink. Alongside incredible food, the weekender will include a programme of workshops and talks.

TRY ‘GOSPELOKE’ HERE: Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen
Ever wanted to sound like Tina, Stevie or Whitney? Well Gospeloke – the capital’s first gospel-style karaoke knees-up – might be for you. Hosted by Shoreditch’s ‘fallen angel’ Eleanor Conway, and Jonny Unknown, expect an evening filled with euphoric ceremonial singalongs as Toni Robinson and her 15-strong gospel choir provide baking vocals for every song. Described as ‘Sister Act meets Top of the Pops’, expect to hear classics such as Bon Jovi’s ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’, Blur’s ‘Tender’, R Kelly’s ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ and Mary Mary’s ‘Shackles’.
