TRY NEW FLAVOURS: Lyaness X Hoppers Afternoon Tea

Lyaness bar in Sea Containers hotel has partnered up with South Asian restaurant Hoppers for a special afternoon tea. Available throughout July, the limited-edition tea (£55pp) takes inspiration from the food and culture of Sri Lanka. The menu includes sandwiches filled with curried chicken salad, Jaffna curry mayo and crispy shallots; tuna or jackfruit fricadels; pumpkin curry puffs; scones with black pepper and pineapple jam; and coconut profiteroles. There are also three cocktails to choose from including the Kandalama Fizz made with Colombo gin, Ceylon kombucha and pineapple, and the Kithul Negroni featuring gin, Kithul, Aperol and Cocchi di Torino. The menu is available on weekends (12pm-5pm Saturday & 12pm-6pm Sunday) until Saturday 31st July.

HEAD TO CARNABY STREET: Soho Music Month

Soho Music Month returns to Carnaby this July. The free month-long celebration will shine a spotlight on the area’s rich and vibrant music history with a series of gigs, DJ sets and fashion pop-ups. To celebrate their new collection, this weekend, GANNI Carnaby Street will be serving drinks in store, while MUJI will be giving away Bluetooth speakers for those who pop their favourite song in the comment section on Instagram. Head to Oliver Spencer to shop their pop-up vinyl store, then stop off at Replay who will be serving refreshing drinks from their spritz trolley this Saturday from 3-7pm. Later in the month, on Saturday 31st July, Size? will welcome Rinse FM to their store for live podcasts and DJ sets. Be sure to head to one of the restaurants in the area, too, for special and musical-themed menus from Senor Ceviche, Rum Kitchen, Bread Ahead and Ugly Dumpling.

BOOK TICKETS FOR THIS: Summer Nights at Colours Hoxton & The Book Club, Shoreditch

If you’re after a fun night out in Shoreditch, Colours Hoxton and The Book Club have a new series of events this summer. On Wednesday and Thursday nights, The Book Club will serve £5 G&Ts from their new cocktail menu, alongside a selection of pizzas and bar snacks. On Sundays, there’s also a bottomless brunch where diners can enjoy espresso martinis, bloody Mary’s, prosecco or mimosas while listening to Ibiza classics from the resident DJs. If you’d prefer karaoke and cabaret, bring your friends to Colours Hoxton for drag duets and sing-alongs. ENJOY LIVE MUSIC AGAIN: Sunday Evening Jazz At Chelsea Physic Garden 

On Sunday 11th July from 7-9pm, Chelsea Physic Garden is hosting an evening of live jazz. A great way to end the weekend with family or friends, the special concert will take place on the main lawns, surrounded by four acres of beautiful scenery. During the evening, expect to hear from artists including Ella Hohnen-Ford, Freddie Benedict and Johatsu. Be sure to order light bites and a selection of drinks from the on-site café, too. BRING THE GIRLS HERE: Maison Mirabeau Blush Brunch At Trafalgar St. James Hotel

The Rooftop at Trafalgar St. James hotel has created a new brunch in collaboration with Maison Mirabeau. Available on Saturdays and Sunday throughout summer, the menu includes pink rosé-inspired creations like bao buns with tempura prawns; pink pancakes with scrambled eggs and crispy bacon; eggs royale with rosé hollandaise; and a special burger with sweet potato fries and pink salt. For dessert, options include yuzu chocolate cheesecake with Mirabeau gelée and cardamom buttermilk pudding. Enjoy a glass of rosé with your meal, or choose one of the exclusive cocktails – the Riviera Paloma with Mirabeau Rosé Gin, grapefruit juice, lime and soda is delicious.

VISIT THIS POP-UP: Sister Jane Sample Sale At The Music Room

Sister Jane are having a sample sale today until 8pm. Head to The Music Room in Mayfair, which holds weekly sample sales and fashion pop-ups, to browse a selection of past-season stock, one-off samples and signature styles in sizes ranging from XS to L, all of which are up to 80% off. BRING THE OUTDOORS IN: Big Plant Sale

From Friday 9th to Sunday 11th July, Protein Studios in Hackney will host their Big Plant Sale with thousands of plants fresh from growers around the UK. Whether you’re after indoor varieties to decorate your home or outdoor plants for the garden, there’s something for everyone, with over 150 different types on sale, most of which cost £10 and under. After three years of development, The Saxon on Clapham High Street is finally open. The stylish new pub is set over four floors with private rooms, a mezzanine, a rooftop and street side terraces. To begin with, diners can choose from small bites like charcuterie and cheese boards; burrata with tomato, lemon oil and toast; Zucchini cakes with turmeric dip; and popcorn chicken with habanero mayo, and later in the summer, there will be brunch, Sunday roasts and traditional British pub classics. Head to The Saxon on Friday nights where a DJ will bring the party and make a beeline for the terrace when the weather picks up.

TRY A NEW WORKOUT: Lift Studio LDN, Clapham

Lift Studio LDN is the new women’s-only gym to know about. Located within Clapham Arts Centre, the studio offers a combination of small group classes and personal training sessions, alongside nutritional coaching. Created by duo Danni and Mimi, the gym specialises in weight training and building strength to reach your fitness goals. VISIT THIS NEW POP-UP: Summer By The River At London Bridge

Summer by the River at London Bridge is back for another year of al fresco dining and fun events the whole family can enjoy. Over the next few weeks, they’ll be screening the Wimbledon Tennis Championship finals and a range of family favourite movies.
