DISCOVER NEW ARTWORK: Affordable Art Fair, Hampstead
Affordable Art Fair is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a five-day showcase across several galleries in Hampstead and west London. From tomorrow until Sunday 8th May, shoppers can browse thousands of contemporary artworks by renowned and emerging artists from leading UK and international galleries, all of which cost between £50 and £7,500. Greenstage Gallery will showcase works from British abstract painter Martyn Jones, The Art Hound will exhibit exclusive photographic portraits by Scarlet Page, and Prince Art Gallery will show contemporary Italian art from the likes of Giancarlo Ciccozzi, Gianni Grattacaso and Raffaella Bellani. Visitors can enjoy art after dark with music and drinks at the Thursday late view or enjoy a weekend day out on the Heath. Tickets start from £11pp.

The perfect spot for a lazy Saturday brunch with friends, INO has a new menu that will hit the spot. Taking inspiration from the classic Greek taverna – with a nod to American classics – tuck into small plates like taramasalata with bottarga and pitta bread, octopus tacos and gyros flatbread with iberico ham, tomato and olive oil. What better way to mark the Globe’s 25th anniversary and the theatre’s first full summer season since 2019 with a new iteration of Shakespeare’s beloved romantic comedy. SHOP ONE-OFF ART: Felt Presents Sensational Beings
This month, contemporary craft platform Felt is popping up at Safehouse in Peckham for the launch of its new collection and exhibition, Sensational Beings. Showcasing established and emerging contemporary artists, the shoppable exhibition is open until Saturday. Expect everything from appliqué and patchwork to ceramics and paintings with every piece an original or limited edition, with a focus on otherworldly creatures and mythological animals. Highlights in the collection include large-scale photography by Casey Moore, ceramics by Mercedes Workman and canvases from Alice Neaves.

EAT IN THE SUNSHINE: Borough Market
Borough Market is a must for everything from Bread Ahead’s iconic doughnuts to Brindisa’s hangover-curing chorizo roll. As of this month, the market’s outdoor dining setting is reopening, with a selection of its favourite restaurants – including Padella, Elliot’s, Mei Mei, Shuk and 26 Grains – offering relaxed eating in and around the market’s trademark arches. BOOK AHEAD: Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre
