ORGANISE DATE NIGHT: Truffle Season At Big Mamma Group Restaurants

Big Mamma Group are behind some of our favourite restaurants in London, so we were excited to hear that they’ve created some new dishes to celebrate truffle season. Book a table at Circolo Popolare in Fitzrovia to try truffle and fennel salami (all the way from Italian village Gombitelli); ‘Nothing But Truffle Pizza’ with smoky provola and black truffle cream; truffle churros; and the restaurant’s signature ‘Mafaldine al Tartufo’ pasta, which you’ve probably spotted on Instagram. Over at Gloria in Shoreditch, diners can try the ‘Brexitalia Truffle Pizza’ made with fresh black truffle and mushroom carpaccio, while Covent Garden newbie Ave Mario will be serving ‘Mac n’ Cheese Truffle Crocchettas’ alongside truffle pizzas and ‘Truffle Smashed Potatoes’. To make the experience even more enjoyable, customers can now settle up via innovative payment app Sunday – launched by Big Mamma’s co-founders – which allows guests to pay the bill in under 30 seconds via a QR code provided at the table.
