Kindred, Hammersmith

Newcomer Kindred is a shared workspace by day and sophisticated event venue by night. The idea for the club was born out of a desire to combat growing isolation and disconnection in London, and its co-working membership program is rooted in community and connection. The team strives to get to know its members individually, find out what they’re looking for in their professional and personal life, and then help them find meaningful connections with other members. As well as its well-deigned shared workspaces, there’s a dining area, library, lounge and two meeting rooms available to use. There’s also a restaurant, café and bar for non-members.

The original AllBright is a women-only members’ club in a five-floor Georgian townhouse on Rathbone Place. Billed as “a members’ club for working women,” the club aims to attract a clientele of female entrepreneurs, executives, creatives and consultants across all industries. Members have access to desks and meeting spaces, events, talks, exhibitions, debates and networking meet-ups, as well as the bar and treatment rooms. Central Working, Farringdon

We’re big fans of Central Working’s London spaces, but our favourite has to be its Farringdon office, which is partnered with The Zetter Hotel. With plenty of natural light and a luxurious private office for up to 18 people, this is a great place to drop in with clients. The club describes itself as having a private members club feel which doesn’t feel too corporate: there’s a great outdoor area, 24-hour access to the hotel’s bar and an on-site café and restaurant. The location’s great too: in just five minutes and you’ll find yourself either at Farringdon tube or Exmouth Market and its selection of renowned restaurants.

The Clubhouse, Various Locations

The Clubhouse was founded in 2012 by Adam Blaskey who was frustrated with meeting important clients in uninspiring, unproductive places around London. This ignited an idea to fill the gap between a co-working space and meetings in hotel lobbies, members clubs or coffee shops. The Clubhouse’s three sites offer hot desks and ‘touchdown’ spaces for members as a base to work from between meetings, to finish off presentations and to work at on an ad-hoc basis. The business lounges and meeting areas are ideal for informal meetings. Membership includes access for two guests at any one time, plus wi-fi, refreshments, fresh fruit, tea and Nespresso coffee.
