Knoops 38% Oat M*lk Chocolate

If you’re after some seriously good hot chocolate, Knoops is the brand to know. Specialising in hot chocolate flakes that vary in cocoa percentage, you can make hot or cold drinks by mixing it with your choice of milk – think iced chocolates and milkshakes. This limited-edition 38% Oat Milk Chocolate is a smooth and creamy vegan alternative which is particularly tasty with hot oat milk. Simply stir it through hot milk or use it with a hot chocolate maker.

Smeg Hand Mixer

Home bakers, this one’s for you. Smeg has added a handheld kitchen mixer to its range. Ideal if you have limited kitchen space, the 1950s-style mixer has nine speeds, including a turbo function to help mix batters, whip cream and make small batches of dough. The best part? It has an in-built LED screen that displays the speed, as well as a handy timer so you needn’t worry about overbeaten eggs or cream. It also comes with three attachments, including dough hooks and wire beaters, plus a storage bag. Available in seven pastel colours, we love the green one.

Gail's Bakery Plant-Based Dishes

Gail’s Bakery has come up with its first ever range of vegan baked goods. Whether you’re taking part in Veganuary or want to try new lunch options, the roasted spiced cauliflower sandwich features a spiced cauliflower steak, matbucha (a spicy North African red pepper), and lentil hummus on a sesame flatbread. Those with a sweet tooth should try the chocolate and hazelnut bun, which is made with olive oil and topped with caramelized hazelnuts and a crispy cocoa glaze; or a slice of the indulgent sticky date and coconut babka, inspired by a classic sticky toffee pudding.

Rosa's Thai Sauces

Rosa’s Thai has created a range of sauces and condiments so you can enjoy authentic Thai flavours at home. There are five jars to choose from, including a Massaman curry paste made with tamarind, lemongrass and chillies; a chilli oil inspired by Hong Kong’s late-night noodle shops; and red and green Thai curry pastes made with dried chillies for extra heat. The satay sauce is one of our favourites from the range. We love the combination of sweet coconut milk and spiced roast peanuts – enjoy it with chicken skewers in a fresh satay salad.

If you’re struggling to find time to cook this month, check out Potage’s range of healthy meals, all of which are made by chefs in small batches in Potage’s Covent Garden kitchen, using local and seasonal ingredients. This month, new dishes include cavolo nero and ricotta cannelloni, wild venison and mushroom pie, black lentil and sweet potato Bolognese, and a traditional Italian hunter’s stew. You can also add on sides and desserts like seasonal greens; homemade sausage rolls; dark chocolate, hazelnut and sea salt cookies; and plum and ginger crumble. Marcato Ravioli Set

Making homemade pasta can be notoriously fiddly, so if you want to give it a proper go, it helps to have a few useful tools to hand. Marcato has created a pasta kit which includes an aluminium mould to make 24 ravioli; three pasta stamps to create the perfect circle, oval and triangle shapes; a cotton cloth; and an apron. The kit also comes with Ina Garten’s Cook Like A Pro cookbook, which is full of handy recipes, including fresh pasta and gnocchi.

French Bloom

Non-alcoholic wine French Bloom has launched in the UK. Available to shop exclusively from Selfridges, the brand was co-created by model Constance Jablonski who struggled to find alcohol alternatives that were also low in calories. Produced in the south of France, there are two bottles to choose from – Le Blanc and Le Rosé, both made with organic white grape juice and sparkling spring water. Light and refreshing, French Bloom doesn’t contain any added sugar or sulphites.

Bol Creamy Chick'n Power Soup

Bol’s filling soups come highly recommended by nutritionists, so we were pleased to hear it’s launched a new flavour in honour of Veganuary. This creamy soup contains shredded jackfruit to mimic the flavour and texture of chicken, as well as potato, butternut squash, leeks, and cannellini beans. Containing plenty of fibre and 13g of plant-based protein to help keep you full, it’s a great lunch option whether you’re taking part in Veganuary or looking for a healthy soup that doesn’t contain too much salt.
