Bryan O’Sullivan Studio
Last week, Bryan O'Sullivan Studio unveiled its own gallery on Brook Street, Mayfair. The London and NYC design studio – admired for its sophisticated, timeless designs found in homes, hotels, restaurants and bars all over the world – dropped its first collection of furniture, lighting and objects this summer. The new space offers an opportunity to view the collection in person for the first time; expect artist collaborations, limited editions and unique pieces in innovative, tactile materials created by skilled craftspeople.

Lee Broom
Lighting designer Lee Broom presented new editions of acclaimed lighting pieces alongside a selection of his brand’s designs in the flagship showroom on Shoreditch’s Rivington Street, which now spans the entire frontage of the Electra House building. The exterior has been reimagined in black with brushed accents, with Little Lens Flair lights adorning the exterior façade, while the interior has been reconfigured to display a wider selection of his furniture, lighting and accessories, celebrating 16 years of the brand’s most iconic designs, including the Lens Flair, the Orion light and the Hanging Hoop chair.

Art + Interiors by Alpha Kilo
Last week, a new space opened in the heart of Mayfair – the result of an exciting collaboration between Alpha Kilo, interior designer Alice Leigh and gallerist Georgie Grandy. The trio bring together a diverse range of design elements and collections from leading British designers and artists, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics. From Christopher Farr’s heritage fabrics to Edward Bulmer’s eco-conscious paints and iconic furniture pieces by Tom Faulkner, Lorfords and Nimmo & Spooner, every aspect of this showcase space – which will be open until October – reflects a commitment to timeless beauty and sustainable practices. Every item on display is available for order or sale, making it an engaging showroom that evolves with each purchase.

lights&lamps
One of our favourite lighting brands, lights&lamps popped up in Shoreditch this week, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the latest collections up close and in person. We loved the organic curves and natural textures of its pieces made in partnership with Reena Simon. Exploring the beauty of charred wood, layered linen and exposed raw hems, the considered approach has delivered a range of shades, lamps, wall and ceiling lights exuding Scandi charm with a contemporary twist.

Cameron Design House
Award-winning British sculptural lighting studio Cameron Design House has unveiled its inaugural collection of statement furniture. The Kupoli Collection merges artistry with functionality to deliver a mesmerising range of pieces. Domed steel tubes form the base of tables, from coffee to consoles to dining, topped with glass to create playful, mirrored statement pieces. The collection takes founder Ian Cameron back to his furniture design roots, with each piece designed in the London studio before being hand-finished at the Hertfordshire workshop.

V&Molly
V&CO is the premium Dead-Flat Matt range from Valspar paint, which launched last year with a collection of 45 curated colours. As part of the London Design Festival, V&CO showcased a new collaborative palette in partnership with interior designer Molly Coath. The V&Molly edit features six deep and saturated shades inspired by Molly’s love of rich purples and greens, her travels in Morocco and colour combinations she remembers from her childhood.

Haines X Lorfords Contemporary
Bespoke furniture studio Lorfords Contemporary has joined forces with Jules Haines, founder of award-winning eco-interiors platform Haines, to create a loose-cover slipper chair with a distinctive scallop-edge skirt. Designed to be a versatile accent piece, the chair would suit a traditional or contemporary scheme, and work well in several rooms, including bedrooms, hallways and even kitchens. Each chair is handmade to order in the Cotswolds with an FSC-certified beech wood frame and all natural inner fillings including calico, hemp, cotton webbing, wool twine, paper, jute, coir recycled textiles and natural latex foam cushioning – it’s pictured here in Pomily’s ‘Checkers’ fabric.

Pooky x GP & J Baker
Fusing Pooky’s creative genius and affordability with GP & J Baker’s extraordinary archive collection of authentic fabrics, this new line of lampshades comprises four designs in a range of colourways – with inspiration taken from hand-painted documents, some dating back to the 17th century. Archive designs have been carefully re-coloured and rescaled to create pleated shades, trimmed with a bold contrasting edge, while some paper shades feature a more contemporary spotted design, also with a bold trim (launching in October).
