PERSONALISE YOUR JEANS:
Embroiderer In Residence at Treehouse Hotel London

TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT:
Le Labo Birthday Cake
Regular readers will know the SL beauty team loves Le Labo fragrances, so we were pleased to hear Berners Tavern at the London Edition has created a Le Labo-inspired cake to celebrate the restaurant’s tenth anniversary. The cake is a chocolate sponge with orange and vanilla buttercream, and notes of blended black tea and bergamot – inspired by the Le Labo scent created for the hotel group. Available from the dessert menu and the hotel lobby bar, each slice costs £8, with £2 going to the Felix Trust, which fights hunger in the UK by delivering surplus fresh food to charities and schools.

GET A CULTURE FIX:
Email Is Dead Exhibition At Design Museum
Communication changed forever when computer programmer Ray Tomlinson sent the world’s first email back in the 1970s. Intuit Mailchimp has just opened an exhibition at the Design Museum that explores the history of email and its transformational powers. The free show considers how email has shaped our lives, relationships, cultures and economies over the last 50 years – and how AI will infiltrate the tech space in the future. Bring the kids for the interactive displays, then take the ‘email personality test’ to discover what kind of emailer you really are.
