Join Georgie For Her Home Tour…

Last year, SL’s Founder & Editor Georgie Coleridge Cole and her husband bought their forever home in South West London and worked with Interior Designer Katharine Paravicini to transform it. Along with their three children, they lived in the house throughout the renovation process and are now, finally, on the other side. Georgie let the cameras in to share the results...

The Kitchen

I worked with Blakes London to design the kitchen. I wanted to create a living space as well as something functional. We went for panelled cabinetry, traditional doors and took a bit of a gamble on the blue marble.

The Sitting Room

I lost count of how many sample pots we tried to find the right green. It's soft, cosy and just right. I sit in this room every moment I can.

The Guest Room

This space was tight for a bedroom and bathroom, but we managed to squeeze in a shower, sink and loo! It's a calm colour and a comfy bed, so I hope my guests sleep well in here.

The Master Bedroom

I saw this walling at Beaverbrook a few years ago. It's actually an upholstered fabric and gives the room such a peaceful feel. The curtain pelmet was a labour of love but, boy, do I love it…

My bathroom was inspired by a bathroom at Thyme. I hated the colour on the walls when it went on, but now it's my favourite colour in the house.

Olivia Crawford and my husband configured our bedroom/dressing room/bathroom with the idea of one set of double doors leading into all three. It really worked – but I take absolutely no credit!

The Study

Who'd have thought a his-and-hers study would see so much action? Thanks to Covid-19 this has been a god send. The Robert Kime wallpaper combined with Squid Ink from Paint Library are a great pairing.

The Children's Bedrooms

My eldest daughter got the smallest children's bedroom, but she got a double bed and the best Blithfield wallpaper.
My littlest has the prettiest pink room. It’s still a work in progress, but I love yellow and pink and, in particular, this blind, chair and rug combination. My son's room is a fab shade of blue – not to light, not too dark.

The Basement

The family room already had the cinema screen, but it needed some love. It feels light and bright now, despite being under the house.
The gym is an old storage cupboard and the best decision I made. The wine cellar was already here. No prizes for guessing whose favourite this room is…
