Colour is a trend that’s here to stay. Creating instant impact and adding wow factor to walls, worktops, splashbacks and shower areas. For a retro revival, look to the clashing combinations of burnt orange, azure blue, moss green and aubergine. They look great in the kitchen with handless high-gloss furniture or painted in-frame cabinetry, as well as behind statement sinks and range cookers.
Green is going nowhere. To bring a sense of the outdoors in, take a look at our garden green palette of tiles, which includes light greens and deeper richer shades too. Green has been a huge trend in interiors this year and it’s a look that’s set to last, as we long to bring the lush greenery of the garden into our homes. We love mixing green with all wood tones to bring depth to your scheme.
Gorgeous new nudes include soft greys, ever-popular rose pinks, plus putty and pebble hues. Use them to pare back a bright and bold kitchen or bathroom scheme, or to inject a feeling of calm and order to otherwise busy décor. We recently worked with blogger Lisa Dawson and we know she’s a fan of this trend. We’re working on her annexe transformation at the moment, which is full of retro vibes.

When selecting the perfect tile material for a project, stone is a natural foundation. Organic, raw and completely at one with nature, it can be used to achieve all sorts of different looks and styles for interior and exterior spaces, while still harnessing its pure, unadulterated state. Our classic stones – Buscot and Wychwood – form the perfect foundation for so many projects and look incredible in classic and contemporary settings.
A classic marble oozes luxury and is also a wonderful foundation. Marble comes in all shapes and sizes and adds an element of interest and intrigue. It’s not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

We like maximum impact in small spaces. Our new Nova Porcelain tile offers distinctive style with a Moroccan feel and is perfect for this, although it offers endless design possibilities thanks to a variety of colours and an on-trend hexagonal shape. The Navajo collection is getting some real interest. It comes in Blush Rose, Denim, Charcoal and Fox, and is suitable for indoor use. The eye-catching pattern repeat makes a stunning statement on splashbacks and feature areas, adding colour to a neutral space. I’d use the Blush Rose in a bathroom, lay it behind a crisp white freestanding bath and mix it with a marble floor for incredible contrast.
When it comes to tiles, anything goes. You don’t have to stay in keeping with the property’s style and age. We encourage people to choose tiles they adore, rather than those they feel they should have. You could pop a contemporary tile in a period property, or use Victorian-era tiling in a really modern home.
It’s not just about the tile design. As well as the shape, finish, colour and size, it’s important to consider how you’ll lay out the tiles, as you can create all sorts of different effects with various patterns and formations. A herringbone pattern with a slim brick parquet is such a great look. Charming and rustic, the tiles combine a traditional feel with an on-trend elegant layout without costing a fortune. From penny mosaics to scallops, square, herringbone and hexagons – shape wise we have something for everyone.
There really is no right or wrong when it comes to metro tiles. It’s entirely down to personal choice. If you want to opt for a classic metro tile, laying it in a herringbone formation adds a twist on a classic. A herringbone formation in a shower, contrasted with different shapes, patterns and materials, looks stunning. We’re finding that people are becoming more adventurous with their tile layouts. Grid formation (where tiles are laid on top of each other, in a grid) creates clean lines, while some love to lay a tile in a vertical formation, which is a great trick for small spaces at it gives the effect of higher ceilings, particularly in new builds.
If you’re on a budget, try to mix and match. Combining different materials – and it doesn’t always have to be on a massive scale – and shapes always creates interest.
