The Powerful Cordless Vacuum Cleaner You Need to Know About
Created in partnership with Miele
The Range
For outstanding cleaning results, Miele’s newest vacuum cleaner range offers a superior user experience thanks to its pioneering technology and genuine craftsmanship. The new Triflex HX2 vacuum cleaner is Miele’s most powerful vacuum cleaner to date and comes in three models – the Triflex HX2, the Triflex HX2 Cat & Dog, and the Triflex HX2 Pro. Offering high-level suction power, it comes with an extra wide, intelligent floorhead that covers more ground in less time. A true all-rounder, the Triflex HX2 combines exceptional cleaning performance, speed and flexibility so you can easily maintain your home – and there’s even a design available specifically for homes with pets. Adaptable and easy-to-use, it can also be configured as a cordless handstick, cordless hand-held and cordless upright vacuum cleaner. We love the timeless colour options too – choose from ‘Lotus White’, ‘Obsidian Black’ and ‘Infinity Grey’.
More Power
Superior cleaning results require significant power. The improved cleaning performance of the Triflex HX2 is attributable to its new Digital Efficiency Motor, which comes with 60% increased performance. The motor works in combination with Miele’s Vortex Technology and Multi-Floor XXL electrobrush to deliver exceptional cleaning power. The rotating beater linked with its intelligent detection of floor coverings reduces rotational speed on hard floors to save energy and prolong battery life. This intelligence also determines the level of motor power needed depending on the type of flooring. It does this by automatically detecting the type of flooring and will increase the speed of the spinning brush. Finally, the HX2 Cat & Dog and HX2 Pro models feature an LED headlight designed to find the very last specks of dust in even the darkest of corners.
Long Battery Life
Cordless cleaning requires exceptional battery performance. The Triflex HX2 is powered by a lithium-ion battery, which offers up to 60 minutes of continuous cleaning. When the Triflex is operated in the second of three power levels, recommended for regular soiling, more than 1,100 sq. ft. of flooring can be cleaned on a single charge, and when used at the maximum power level, the Triflex HX2 offers the same outstanding cleaning performance as its coveted Complete C3 corded model. To extend the run time, additional rechargeable batteries are available to buy separately. The flagship Triflex HX2 Pro, with two batteries offering up to 120 minutes run-time, also features a second charger as standard.
Three-in-One Design
Easy to use, each model can be smoothly adapted to meet its requirement. The key components of the Triflex – the PowerUnit (which contains the motor, rechargeable battery and dust box), suction tube, floorhead and handle – can be quickly reconfigured into a choice of three modes for complete flexibility and versatile handling: handstick, handheld and upright. Whether you need to access hard-to-reach areas, such as under the furniture or on the ceiling, or quickly clean the corners of the car, there are various configurations available, as well as three handy attachments – the upholstery nozzle, the crevice nozzle and the dusting brush.
Exemplary Hygiene
Allergy sufferers will benefit from the HEPA Lifetime Filter, which is found across the HX2 models and is designed to trap up to 99.999% of fine dust and 99.95% of allergens, viruses and bacteria. The Triflex's three-stage filtration system also ensures hygienic dust disposal. Coarse dirt collects in the dust container, while finer particles are retained by the fine dust filter. During disposal, the Twist2open mechanism makes sure the contents of the dust container slide out effortlessly. Convenient filter cleaning in-between uses is guaranteed by the new ComfortClean function. Just a few turns of the filter lid is enough to shake dirt particles loose into the container. This ensures that the high-level suction power of the unit remains constant, delivering consisent results.
Flexible Storage & Charging
The Triflex also proves highly flexible when it comes to storage, making the best of any available space. With the PowerUnit in either the lower or upper position, the appliance can be suspended from a wall bracket. If there is insufficient space or to avoid the need to drill holes, when configured as a cordless upright, the Triflex can also stand on its own. To charge the Triflex, simply plug the charging cable directly into the connector on the battery. For complete flexibility, the battery can be charged on or off the Triflex – ideal if no power socket is available where the vacuum cleaner is stored.
Award-Winning Design
Even prior to the market launch, the Triflex HX2 was awarded the coveted Red Dot Product Design Award for its innovative three-in-one design. All models come with a dusting brush, a crevice nozzle and an upholstery nozzle as standard, while the Triflex HX2 Cat&Dog also features a compact electrobrush, which reliably removes hair and lint from upholstery and car seating.
