Set Of Four Vintage Hand Carved German Oak Dining Chairs, £680

Made in Germany, these vintage oak chairs are reflective of the increasingly popular folk aesthetic, reminding us of the seating chosen by Lucy Williams in her recent renovation. Brining warmth, interest and character to a room, we think these would work especially well juxtaposed with a more contemporary setting.

Vintage 1970'S Carrara Coffee Table, £2,100

The veining on this 1970s Carrara marble coffee table is faultless. The combination of gentle grey strata against a pure white background will seamlessly blend into any neutral scheme.

This sturdy side table is perfect for an empty wall in need of a bit of interest. The glossy dark wood would offer great contrast in a neutral scheme, and the bobbin legs are a bonus.

20th Century Iron & Black Marble Console Table, £1,695

Made from iron and black marble, this 20th-century console table has such an elegant design. The metal work offers a decorative base, topped by striking black marble, while the edge towards the back of the table means this could easily convert into a wash table.

This 19-century English pine cabinet has lots of storage – use the shelves behind the glass to display your favourite pieces and hide other items away behind its doors. We’d have it in a dining area to store table linens and glassware.

Sturdy, pleasingly heavy and with a soft fluted design on its pedestal, this occasional table would work well in a generous hallway. We love the choice of Farrow & Ball ‘Hague Blue’ for its reinvention.

Unusual Arts And Crafts Ebonised Bobbin Chair, £550

This ebonised armchair with its cane seat is all about bold lines and attention to detail. Dating from the Aesthetic movement (1860-1900), it might be one to admire from afar rather than use day to day.

Early 20th Century Mahogany And Marble Chest Of Drawers, £1,995

This is early 20th-century mahogany and marble chest of drawers is a superb example of the period. It’s in excellent condition with clean, even coloured timber, although the marble has a few age-related minor marks. Finally, the brass accents in the handles and the feet caps add a decorative feel.

Vintage Swedish Sofa, £3,950

We love the refined curves and delicate buttoning on this two-and-a-half seater sofa from Swedish master Carl Malmsten, produced in his own workshop in the 1950s. Today, it’s been reupholstered in luxurious Italian bouclé wool fabric by Dedar and has walnut-stained beech legs.

Are you ready for an 80s revival? This grey marble side table by designer Amadio Tzanz is a timeless piece. Signed by the artist, it would work brilliantly in a hallway, living room or even a bathroom.

19th C. Marble Top Table With Iron Base, £2,400

This beautifully made 19th-century table has delicate crossbar struts and rosette detailing, as well as supporting curling legs painted in white. The original marble top has attractive grey veining and is a slim width, in keeping with the refined proportions of the design.

Pair Of Napoleon III Plain Pie crust Armchairs, £1,695

This quality pair of French 19th-century pie-crust armchairs have an added detail – a scalloped edge that makes them more of a decorative statement. A generous size, they’ve been fully restored – including the springs, legs and padding – so they’ll stand up to everyday use.

Pine Tambour Screen, £850

The beauty of this form-flowing slatted pine screen is that it’s able to stand in a number of positions, but can also be rolled away when not in use. Attributed to French designer Jomain Baumann, around 1940, think of it as a chic way to hide daily clutter.

Midcentury Gordon Russell Walnut & Beech Desk, £1,299

Designed by Gordon Russell in 1954, this walnut and beech desk comes with five storage drawers and turned wooden handles. Veneered with well-figured walnut, the tapered legs and edge moulding are made of beech. It would also work well as console table or a dressing table.
