Chinoiserie Rattan Desk Chair, £895
This 19th-century Chinoiserie desk chair is made from bang-on-trend rattan. This high-quality piece comes with its original painted decoration and has a lovely aged quality to it. The current seat pad is original, but it could be recovered in a fresher fabric to create a truly modern piece. Ideal as a desk or dressing table chair, we can also see this working well in a corner of a room.

French Ebonised Desk, £2,500
This item is a great-quality, 19th-century French ebonised desk/bureau plat. Built in the style of Louis XVI, the black and gold piece comes with two brushing slides and has retained its original brass mounts. We imagine it would look great in a home office or as a side table in a hallway.

Louis XV-Style Fireplace, £2,000
We’re big fans of the Lassco trio of antiques shops across the capital (the Vauxhall outpost shares its space with the great Brunswick House restaurant). One of the best items the team currently has for sale is this early 20th-century, Louis XV-style fireplace, which comes with a panelled frieze and jambs. A striking piece for anyone currently doing up a house and keen to incorporate original features.

Model B 310 VAR Mid-Century Chair, £500 Each
A design icon, the Model B-310 VAR chair was manufactured in Poland in the 1960s. These two have since undergone a complete restoration process: they’ve been stripped down, all the insides have been replaced, and they’ve been re-upholstered in neutral bouclé fabric, adding a cosy touch. The wooden parts have also been sanded, stained and secured with matte varnish, exposing beautiful wood grains.

Small French Crapaud Sofa, £1,795
This pretty French two-seater crapaud sofa has been newly reupholstered and recovered in an eye-catching red striped fabric – great in a bay window. If this type of furniture is up your street, we recommend looking at Litten Tree Antiques’ other pieces, which currently include ottomans, headboards and larger upholstered pieces of furniture.

French Dresser Painted Grey, £595
This solid walnut dresser has been painted in a traditional French grey, in the shabby-chic style. However, it would be simple to sand down and repaint if you’re looking for a project or it doesn’t quite match your current scheme. The insides of the cupboard have been lined with various patterned wallpaper and the drawer knobs have been modernised, making this a pretty piece for a kitchen.

French Tub Sofa, £950
We love this French Napoleon-style sofa, which comes with bright jacquard fabric, turned legs and scrolled arms. The seat and back rest are quite firm, so it’s probably best suited to rooms where looks and decoration are more important than comfort – the striking green and pink fabric really makes an impact.
