On Thursday, a special event by Charlotte Tilbury will celebrate the launch of the brand’s new fragrances, and attendees will receive a goodie bag and a complimentary drink. Elemis will then be taking over on Friday, with a masterclass on SPF, while the team from Too Faced will be teaching you how to nail summer’s biggest beauty trends, and showcasing its new mascara, which is exclusive to Selfridges. Finally, fragrance house Creed will take you on a scent journey as it unveils its new launch. Tickets range from £25-£35 and are redeemable against products purchased on the day.

Children’s classic, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, is coming to The Lowry in Salford this weekend. Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, the critically acclaimed show is a vibrant celebration of Eric Carle’s beloved book and an ideal introduction to live theatre. The story comes to life on stage with a delightful array of 75 lovable puppets and enchanting music. Tickets start from £21.50.

The newly opened Skof was tipped to be Manchester’s next Michelin starred restaurant even before its official opening. Transforming the Hanover building in NOMA, the eagerly awaited fine dining establishment marks the first solo venture from chef Tom Barnes – who is best known for his tenure as head chef at Rogan & Co when it received a Michelin star and as executive chef at Simon Rogan’s L’Enclume. This Grade II-listed space takes a more relaxed approach to the traditional fine-dining tasting menu, which revolves around local, seasonal ingredients.
