One of the biggest events of the summer season, Chestertons Polo In The Park returns to the Hurlingham Club from 7th to 9th June. Across the weekend, there will be polo matches between teams from around the world, as well as VIP hospitality. Guests can enjoy live music, a luxury shopping village, plus gardens and bars created by Mahiki, Champagne Lanson and more. Fulham Food Festival will be hosting some of London’s most popular restaurants and street food vendors, including Gaucho, Made of Dough and Truffle Burger. The Hills Of California
This one’s had rave reviews, and there’s just a month left to see it in the West End. After the success of The Ferryman, writer Jez Butterworth teamed up with director Sam Mendes again on this show at the Harold Pinter Theatre. Known for directing The Lehman Trilogy, Mendes has taken on a very different project here – Hills of California is set in 1970s Blackpool. It has been the driest summer for 200 years, the beaches are packed, the hotels are heaving and, in the sweltering backstreets far from the ice-creams and donkey rides, the Webb sisters are returning to their mother’s run-down guest house, as she lies dying upstairs.

Fragile Beauty
The V&A has teamed up with Gucci for a sequel to Tate Modern's 2016 exhibition The Radical Eye. Opening this weekend, the exhibition features pieces is borrowed from the private collection of Sir Elton John and David Furnish. Visitors will be able to view over 300 prints by more than 140 photographers spanning the 1950s to the present day – including David LaChapelle, renowned for his pop surrealism, and Herb Ritts, celebrated for his fashion photography and nude compositions.

Toklas
Bakery and restaurant, Toklas, has a lot lined up this summer – including the launch of its own-label wines and a full programme of events. This weekend, a lunch with Rosa Jackson will mark the launch of her cookbook, Niçoise. For £75 per person, guests can preview the recipes – prepared by head chef Chris Shaw – with wines from Provence’s Valerie Courreges. Hosted by Rosa, the lunch menu includes pissaladiere, salade Niçoise, petits farcis, chicken bouillabaisse, and a strawberry tart. Also on the summer events schedule is a ‘meet the author’ cookbook fair with an appearance by Kattan, the Franco-Palestinian chef and author of Bethlehem and a visit from Masterchef finalist Alexina Anatole. As well as browsing their recent cookbooks, you’ll also be able to sample limited edition bakes from Nicola Lamb – author of baking book, Sift.

The Women For Women International x Alex Eagle #SheInspiresMe car boot sale is back. Now spanning the fifth and sixth floors of the Selfridges Car Park on Oxford Street, it’ll be supported by luxury resale brand Sellier Knightsbridge, RESELFRIDGES and Mini. There, guests can shop pre-loved and new Chanel, Hermès, and Dior items donated by Sellier, as well as pieces from brands like Jimmy Choo, Ganni, Rixo, and Manolo Blahnik.
