What To Do This Weekend 11.01.24
ENJOY DRY JANUARY:
NoMad London
If you’re doing Dry January and starting to feel a little parched, the NoMad London hotel can help. It’s got a new cocktail menu featuring non-alcoholic iterations of classics like the Manhattan, with all the spice and warmth you’d expect from the boozy version.

EMBRACE VEGANUARY:
Pastaio x Meera Sodha
Pastaio, the Soho spot known for its fresh pasta, has partnered with vegan chef Meera Sodha on a limited-edition Veganuary pasta dish featuring kimchi, tomato, sesame and a touch of gochugaru for heat. For each plate sold, 50p goes to The Trussell Trust charity that’s working to end UK hunger and poverty. Make a feast of it and dip into the restaurant’s regular green menu – we’re looking at the Aubergine caponata.

Mean Girls at Everyman

SKILL UP:
Workshops At Hampton Manor
Starting this Saturday, Michelin-starred Hampton Manor is hosting regular workshops. There are three-hour Bread & Butter sessions (£90pp) where you can master the art of sourdough and learn butter-making techniques – at the very least you’ll leave with a sourdough, starter and handcrafted butter to take home. There are also Cinnamon Bun workshops (£60pp) which reveal the secrets behind the restaurant’s famous sweet treats.

It’s launched two new flavours: Marshmallow & S’more is loaded with its famous cookie dough chunks and toasted marshmallow swirls, while Oat of This Swirled is a non-dairy option packed with oat cinnamon cookies – ideal for Veganuary.
