SEE A NEW EXHIBITION:

Women in Revolt! at Tate Britain

Tate Britain’s latest exhibition celebrates over 100 overlooked female artists from the 70s and 80s, who used protest, punk and politics in their art to make the world a better place for women today.

Featuring protest banners, zines and photographs, artists on display include musician Cosey Fanni Tutti, who was revolutionary in using sex work in her art to claim her body image; Rita Keegan who worked to improve greater representation of women of colour in the art world, and collectives like Hackney Flashers who highlight the impact of lack of childcare on women. Look out for edible artwork on the Tate Britain lawn with cake made by Lily Vanilli that will be free to see (and eat). Tickets cost £17.

CREATE YOUR OWN ARTWORK:

Pandora Pop-Up

Pandora has opened an immersive pop-up experience on the South Bank where visitors can create their own piece of art using its bespoke interactive platform. Step into the pop-up, designed to look like a huge Pandora gift box, to also see artwork by five up-and-coming artists: Hisham Echafaki, Renin Bilginer, Eve De Haan, Makiko Harris and Phoebe Boddy. Each one has created pieces inspired by the theme of ‘Love’. After you’ve seen the exhibition and created your own artwork, you can then project your design on digital screens around the pop-up or have them printed into personalised wrapping paper for a loved one.
