Covent Garden live music and cocktail bar STEREO is celebrating its one-year anniversary on 24th May. To mark the occasion, it’s secured an intimate performance by Grammy-nominated DJ Diplo from 10pm to 3am. On the same night, guests can sample STEREO’s new spring cocktail menu. The Macallan x Cirque du Soleil

In celebration of its 200th anniversary, single-malt Scotch whisky brand The Macallan has joined forces with Cirque du Soleil to create a theatrical experience like no other. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Macallan estate in Speyside – a picturesque 485-acre stretch of land in the Scottish Highlands – the event promises to be immersive and unforgettable. Daily performances are at 8:30pm, excluding Sundays, from 9th-31st May. Tickets cost £200pp.

Sibin

Tucked away within the Great Scotland Yard hotel, Sibin is a speakeasy-style bar that’s just had an overhaul. Formerly celebrated for its vast collection of 170 whiskies, it’s said goodbye to half of them, so guests can now discover a more refined assortment of spirits, fine wines and champagne, along with five newly crafted cocktails and a bar food menu. Enter through a hidden bookcase, and count on live music every Thursday and Friday evening from 8:30pm.

Taste of London is returning to Regent’s Park for its 20th anniversary celebrations in June. It’ll be showcasing dishes from London's most in-demand menus, delicious drinks and great entertainment over five food-filled days. An American drive-in cinema experience is coming to London this Saturday. In Nine Elms, The Embassy Gardens Drive-In Cinema will be screening back-to-back blockbuster films – from a James Bond to The Lion King – from 10am to 10pm. To up the ante, you can hire a spectacular classic or supercar – each with its own wireless speaker – or you can bring your own vehicle or deckchair. Food and drinks will be served by The Alchemist – think classic popcorn, burgers, beers and cocktails – and can be delivered straight to your car.

Part of The Westin London City hotel, Hithe + Seek has announced a collaboration with James Sharp – MasterChef: The Professionals contestant and co-founder of Palette Dining and Hash Hut London. Together with Hithe + Seek head chef Fabio De Paolis, he’s put together a menu of punchy, flavour-packed dishes that will be available on 7th-11th May. Look out for elevated hash browns infused with brown butter and beef tartar, seared queen scallops and poached oysters, and a mini-venison saddle wellington

Following its Battersea run, the Affordable Art Fair returns to Hampstead Heath this weekend, showcasing the best in contemporary art from £50 a piece. New this year is the University of the Arts London Made in Arts London’s showcase, as well as work from finalists in the Jackson’s Art Prize 2024. Visitors can also browse a range of bars, cafés and food trucks, with live DJs and drinks until 9pm – plus, a family hour at the weekend.
