Back for its fifth annual International Women’s Day auction, Art On A Postcard has enlisted the help of eight female curators to put together this year’s selection of pieces. Bidders can now compete for limited-edition postcard-sized prints – all contemporary, cool and packed with personality. Bidding will finish on 12th March, and all proceeds will go to the Hepatitis C Trust, specifically supporting the work it does with women affected by the criminal justice system. Pophams Hot Cross Buns
Hot cross buns are one of the highlights of the run up to Easter, and this year the much-loved croissant hot cross bun is back at Pophams Bakery. Surplus mincemeat from mince pies is used to create a bun full of raisins, currents, sultanas, candied peel, apple and cinnamon, and brushed with a citrus, maple and cardamom glaze. The buns will be served at all three Pophams bakeries and made available for delivery across the capital from 11th March to 7th April.

The Boreka Next Door With Sabrina Ghayour
In the second instalment of ‘The Boreka Next Door’ – a series which sees guest chefs reinvent the boreka – chef and food writer Sabrina Ghayour will be taking to the kitchen. Off the back of her highly successful Middle Eastern cookbook Persiana, Sabrina and the team at the Covent Garden hotspot will be cooking up dishes inspired by Sabrina’s Chicken Bastilla – a Moroccan pie made with flaky pastry and filled with tender chicken, studded with fruits and nuts. Starting this week, The Zen Project has partnered with King’s Cross to put on 12 days of wellbeing events and offer mental health support out of a repurposed American school bus, which has been transformed into a mobile ‘zen den’. Activities are designed for everybody, and include meditations, sound baths, yoga and breathwork. Running until the 17th, this run is part of the three-month Mind Your Brain campaign at King’s Cross, featuring a roster of wellbeing events that are all about maintaining a happy and healthy brain.
