SEE A CLASSIC:
Witness For The Prosecution
If you’ve never seen this classic Agatha Christie tale on stage, now’s a good time, as the production has just refreshed its cast. Leonard Vole is accused of murdering a widow to inherit her wealth. And the stakes are high – will Leonard survive the shocking witness testimony and will he be able to convince the jury of his innocence and escape the hangman’s noose? The plot will keep you guessing right up until its close, but the star of the show has to be the theatre itself. Set inside the magnificent former courtroom of London County Hall, it puts the audience right at the centre of the action. If you don’t mind taking to the stage yourself, the best seats in the house are the 12 in the jury box, where audience members are handed notepads to jot down their observations. The jury package also includes pre-show and interval drinks.
