A chic London hotspot, The Lobby at The Peninsula, has announced its Sunday lunch dining menu. Book in to while away an afternoon in the grand dining room, complete with three-story high ceilings and chandeliers. Guests can expect a three-course affair of traditional dishes like roast Lake District beef striploin and duck breast, accompanied by beef dripping roast potatoes, heirloom carrots, cauliflower, cabbage and spinach gratin, Yorkshire pudding and plenty of gravy. The menu is available every Sunday for lunch from noon to 2:30pm – with live music starting at 3pm – and is priced at £75pp.

Rong Bao Is Me

Rong Bao Is Me is a kooky and playful exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery. By paying homage to Bao’s playful transformation of familiar objects through sculptural practice, it questions our perception of the physical world. Pan Pacific London x Bonpoint

Following the success of its children’s spa treatments last year, the Pan Pacific London hotel is collaborating again with much-loved children’s brand Bonpoint. On offer this time is a children’s afternoon tea. From today, guests can order finger sandwiches with cream cheese, ham, cucumber, egg mayonnaise, grated carrot and cheesy apple slaw, plus scones with berry jam, chocolate almond macarons, and madeleines with orange blossom icing. To further occupy little ones, there will be a wordsearch and colouring available. Plus, there will be dedicated children’s swimming hours at the hotel’s infinity pool, where children can lounge on mini deckchairs, under umbrellas and play with custom pool floats. The afternoon tea is £29 per child.

CELEBRATE SAKURA SEASON:

Sticks & Sushi

While cherry blossoms are a rare find in London, Sticks ‘n’ Sushi has Sakura-inspired installations and a new menu of specials. Available this weekend until the 31st March, the limited-edition menu includes a cherry fondant and a Sakura hanami cocktail made with Umeshu plum wine and sour cherry blossom, rosehip and strawberry. Plus, families dining with Sticks’n’Sushi during the Easter break can join in with origami activities and children will receive a delicious Easter egg to take home.

One Day Date

Anyone who’s watched Netflix’s One Day will know a lot of the romance story is set in Edinburgh, but filming also took place in a classic London restaurant, Quaglino’s – it’s where Emma and Dexter have a catastrophic and emotionally charged catch-up. This Good Friday, the restaurant is inviting diners to enjoy Emma's special fish and chips themselves, paired with a classic gin martini. Earlier this month, Estelle Manor launched its Eynsham Baths spa. Inside, there’s a vast tepidarium bathing hall with carved marble details, five thermal pools, steam room, hay sauna, lounge and ten treatment rooms, including couple’s suites and thermal cabins – perfect for a bit of Easter R&R. The open-air hideaway and bar is a secluded spot for members, but there are also cottages in the middle of the ancient woodland on the west side of the estate that are best suited to families. Connor Brothers

The Connor brothers are putting their ‘Pulp Fiction’ series on display at the Red Eight Gallery at the Royal Exchange. The British duo’s highly popular artworks use a combination of hand painting and silkscreen varnish on books printed in the middle of the last century – in turn, offering a commentary on the state of society today.

Coq d’Argent

Coq D’argent has one of the most enviable rooftop spots in London, and now, it's putting its own French twist on the traditional British Sunday roast. Launching this Sunday, with head chef Damien Rigollet at the helm, the new menu is all about comfort. For the main event diners can pick from les rotisseries du Coq d’Argent – a choice between a 40-day dry aged Angus Hereford Sirloin, an Alan Barrow Brook Street Farm leg of lamb or a French whole corn-fed baby chicken – served with a red wine jus and all the trimmings. We’ve got our eye on the special Easter desert – dark chocolate mousse, caramelised hazelnut praline and Bailey’s ice cream.

Balloon Museum

Newly extended into April, this interactive balloon exhibit in London features an enormous ball pit styled like a swimming pool – complete with ladders and sound scaping – giant inflatable rabbits and, of course, plenty of photobooths. You can easily lose a few hours exploring the exhibit, and little ones will love it. Tickets start from £32 for adults or £18 for under-15s, while a family ticket starts from £90.

Chelsea Little Egg Hunt

If you are keen to get fully stuck in with Easter, Chelsea’s Little Egg Hunt has returned to the neighbourhood – in collaboration with Royal Charity Elephant Family and Clarence Court Eggs. Take the family on a hunt across the borough this bank holiday, and search for all the egg-shaped sculptures. Each of the eggs are designed by big names in the art and design worlds – Anya Hindmarch and Philip Colbert to name a few – and the charity aims to raise awareness for conservation and wildlife while making art accessible and fun for all.
