MONDAY

Imposter: The Man Who Came Back From The Dead, Channel 4

Proving truth is stranger than fiction is Channel 4’s latest crime drama. Starting tonight, this new four-part series documents a man – known in Glasgow as Arthur Knight – who woke up from a Covid-19 coma in 2021, only to find himself surrounded by police. US authorities alleged that his real identity was Nicholas Rossi, who had faked his death to escape numerous rape charges. With plenty of twists and turns, underpinned by interviews with legal experts, journalists and the women Rossi allegedly assaulted, the documentary follows the two years of courtroom drama where Knight and his English wife, Miranda, adamantly claimed he was not Rossi.

We return to the post-apocalyptic wasteland, this time 15-20 years prior to the events of the previous film. Hollywood ‘It’ girl Anya Taylor-Joy steps into the role of renegade warrior Furiosa (previously played by Charlize Theron) to provide a backstory for the character. Elsewhere, an unrecognisable Chris Hemsworth plays the menacing warlord Dementus. Brace yourselves, Furiosa’s origin story is as relentless and fast-paced as Tom Hardy’s outing was.
