Bake Off: The Professionals, Channel 4 

The search for Britain's best patisserie team is on. Comedian and actress Ellie Taylor, and baker and TV presenter Liam Charles have joined forces to host a new season of the Great British Bake Off spin-off, in which professional pastry chefs from hotels, restaurants and patisseries compete for the crown. They aim to impress returning judges Cherish Finden and Benoit Blin, who have a secret challenge in store for the teams.

The Fall: Skydive Murder Plot, Channel 4

True crime fans will be aware of this stranger-than-fiction story already, and may have already watched Netflix’s docuseries The Parachute Murder Plot. But for those who don’t know, Channel 4’s new series explores the chilling plot of one husband who attempted to kill his wife by tampering with her parachute. Astonishingly, Victoria Cilliers survived the 4,000ft fall and, over the course of two years, detectives uncovered her husband’s murderous intentions along with his string of affairs and debts.

Adapted from the 1987 Scott Turrow novel and directed by the creator of Big Little Lies, Jake Gyllenhaal stars in this new Apple TV drama, which tells the story of criminal prosecutor Rusty Sabich. When one of his colleagues is murdered, he outplays his competition to take the case. But as the story unravels, details about his relationship with the deceased emerge, and his motivations for taking on the case are called into question.

Bridgerton, Netflix

Inside Out 2

Inside Out was a hit with families back in 2015, and its hotly-anticipated sequel hits the big screen on Friday. Now older and facing new challenges, teenager Riley's mind headquarters is undergoing a sudden renovation to accommodate something unexpected: new emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, who have managed things smoothly, are thrown off balance when Anxiety arrives, amongst other new feelings.

Ama Gloria tells the story of six-year-old Cléo (Louise Mauroy-Panzani), who lives in Paris with her widower dad, Arnaud (Arnaud Rebotini), and her cherished nanny, Gloria (Ilça Moreno Zego). While Cléo loves her father, Gloria is the emotional centre of her world. When Gloria returns to Cape Verde to care for her own family, Cléo is heartbroken and determined to be reunited with her.

The Euros: England vs Serbia, BBC 

The Euros kicks off this weekend, with the first England match on Sunday. The Lions will face Serbia, who were in good form in a friendly against Sweden last week.
