The Dubai Launch Taking Luxury To New Levels

From 9th-11th February, the One&Only hosted a spectacular one-off celebration for the grand opening of the new One&Only One Za’abeel – a new resort by the ultra-luxury hospitality brand.
What Happened
The weekend kicked off on Friday night with guests enjoying dinners in The Link and an afterparty on the rooftop at Tapasake, with cocktails aplenty and a high energy performance from Lebanese pop star Nancy Ajram.
The Link
One&Only describe The Link as “a futuristic boulevard floating 100m above the city.” It brings together some of the world’s most talented chefs, mixologists and the most spectacular swimming pool to create an inimitable destination in Dubai.

The Big Day
The celebrations kicked off again with a poolside rosé brunch at the longest infinity pool in the UAE suspended 100m above street level. A glamorous crowd from the UK, USA, Paris, Greece and of course, all over the GCC, mingled in the sunshine enjoying one of the most stunning views Dubai has to offer. Later that day, celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Vanessa Hudgens, Mark Ronson, Idris and Sabrina Elba, Naomi Campbell, David Gandy, Ramla Ali, Karen Wazen, Emma Raducanu, Mara Hoffman, Nicola Roberts and Chanel Ayan walked the red carpet before being seated at dinners hosted by Michelin-starred chefs.

The Party
Mark Ronson, Jennifer Lopez and Idris Elba entertained guest with mega performances at Sphere in The Link, a nightclub that knows exactly how to put on a party. Lopez wowed guests with an impromptu medley performance of her hit songs including Jenny From the Block and Get Right, as well as Can’t Get Enough – the debut single from her upcoming album This is Me…Now.

The Guest List
Some of the world's biggest celebrities and icons, as well as UK talent such as Anna Vitiello, Roxie Nafousi, Flavia Stuttgen, Sam Webb, Doia Ciobanu and Eva Apio.
