Dishes to Delight, Bre Graham
I love Bre Graham's style of cooking – comfort food that's a little bit kitsch, and hearty dishes you really want to eat. Her newsletter features updates on her life and travels (she's from Sydney so there are plenty of Aussie recs) and seasonal recipes to cook at the weekend. Her spicy sausage rigatoni recipe is one of my go-to dishes during the colder months.

The Cereal Aisle, Leandra Medine Cohen
From sustainable fashion to styling tips and in-depth pieces on how to style a trend, Leandra Medine Cohen has her finger on the pulse – putting her own spin on the latest trends, topics and hot products in fashion. I loved her latest post about ‘shirt sandwiches’ – aka turtlenecks and scarves styled under shirts to add interest.

Emily’s Life Plan For The Week, Emily Mariko
Like everyone else, I fell in love with Emily Mariko during lockdown. She was someone who cooked clean, healthy food in a delicious way, giving her followers great inspo too. Her Substack takes this to the next level, sharing a food plan for the week ahead – before her TikTok recipes go live – so you can cook along with her.

Remotely, Lucy Williams
I’d always admired Lucy Williams’s relaxed sense of style, but it wasn’t until she took her Instagram followers on her journey renovating her now-famously colourful home during the pandemic that I became a fully fledged fan. Her newsletter Remotely, which moved over to Substack at the end of last year, is a well-rounded edit of her life, leaning towards home renovations and decorating, but also featuring the books she’s reading and the TV she’s loving.

Feeder, Sophie Wyburd
I can’t wait for former Mob chef Sophie Wyburd’s debut cookbook to come out later this year. Until then, her new Substack Feeder is where I’m getting her excellent recipes and restaurant recommendations. New for 2024 is her Spooning series – a collection of recipes such as sausage vodka orzo designed to be eaten with a spoon, in front of the TV.
