These Are The Best Piercing Bars In London

The trend for a ‘curated ear’ shows no sign of waning. Whichever combination of piercings you choose, it pays to visit the best in the business for a painless experience and some perfect positioning. That’s why we’ve put together seven of our favourite bars in London – whether you want a simple new addition or something more tailored, these are the places to go…

All products on this page have been selected by our editorial team, however we may make commission on some products.

Astrid & Miyu

Known For: Stacking & Ear Cuffs

Why It’s Worth Visiting: Popular jewellery brand Astrid & Miyu has a piercing bar in six of its stores including Notting Hill, Neal Street and Selfridges. The bar is great for the ’gram while the expertise of its piercing pros is second to none. Choose from a vast option of jewellery – think dainty, on-trend pieces through to solid steel options. Done with a needle, precision is the USP here and the numbing treatment they use means pain is kept to the very minimum, if felt at all. Prices start from £45. Need more? You’ll get 20% off all earrings when you book your piercing.

How To Book: AstridAndMiyu.com or visit the store in person.

Lark & Berry

Known For: A Luxe Experience

Why It’s Worth Visiting: Lark & Berry specialises in lab-grown diamonds and delicate, flattering piercings. The process is laidback and speedy (max five minutes) – there’s walk-in services Tuesday right through to Saturday. A special shout out to the staff pros, who all specialise in ‘ear curation’, and can help with any questions you may have before or afterwards.

How To Book: LarkAndBerry.co.uk or just walk into its Marylebone store from Tuesday-Saturday.

Maria Tash

Known For: Affordability & Fine Jewellery

Why It’s Worth Visiting: Maria Tash first popped up in Liberty London for a one-off during fashion week. It proved to be so popular the retailer famously condensed all of its ‘It’ bags onto another floor to make way for Tash’s permanent residency. The New York-based jeweller’s designs have indeed gone on to be hugely popular, with the piercing bar often booked up – in other words, be quick. Prices start at just £15 for an ear lobe, but the caveat is you must be pierced with Maria Tash’s jewellery. That shouldn’t be an issue though, given the quality of the pieces. If you can’t reach Liberty, you’ll find Maria Tash in Harrods too.

How To Book: MariaTash.com or in store at Liberty London or Harrods.

Metal Morphosis

Known For: Accessibility & Speed

Why It’s Worth Visiting: Previously located in Topshop’s Oxford Street store, Metal Morphosis prides itself on accessibility and speed. Launched in 1991, it’s home to some of the best piercing talent and keeps everything affordable – one lobe starts at just £15. Metals are still high quality, so you can expect no tarnishing or visible wear, while everything is surgical grade to keep inflammation and infections at bay. Now located in Shoreditch, Metal Morphosis is easy to get to and takes walk-ins – though we recommend booking a slot to avoid disappointment on the day.

How To Book: MetalMorphosis.co.uk or email enquiries@metalmorphosis.co.uk.

Sacred Gold

Known For: Bespoke Jewellery

Why It’s Worth Visiting: An SL favourite, Sacred Gold was founded by Guy Saar. Cool with a vintage style, Sacred Gold has a great reputation for good reason. All its experts instantly make you feel at ease, while the jewellery on offer is seriously exciting – they’ll even create you bespoke pieces for different parts of your body, be it ear, nose or helix. For her limitless knowledge and sound advice, we recommend asking for Nicole to do your piercing.

How To Book: SacredGoldPiercing.com or call on 020 7287 0777.

Tada & Toy

Known For: An On-Demand Service

Why It’s Worth Visiting: on Portobello Road, you can visit Tada & Toy at any time to check out its chic jewellery and get advice on piercings. It’s also now available on demand, thanks to a partnership with beauty concierge app Ruuby. That’s right, Tada & Toy will come to your home for a 30-minute piercing service. You can book as a group too, which we highly recommend for big birthday celebrations or hen dos. The piercings will be carried out with a needle, while your therapist will arrive equipped with all the sterilised tools and a selection of jewellery.

How To Book: Book on demand via Ruuby.com.

The Alkemistry

You’ll find it on Floral Street in Covent Garden, where you can peruse the offering and book in for a piercing too.
