Sensibio Micellar Water, £11 | Bioderma

Georgia Day, Journalist & SL Beauty Columnist

“I've used this product for nearly 20 years and never like to be without a bottle or two in my beauty cabinet. I first saw it being used on models backstage at fashion shows and can vividly remember sneaking out between shows to track it down in a French pharmacy. Although I can no longer claim it as my own insider beauty secret, I’m at least relieved I don’t have to jump on the Eurostar to get it. It’s a micellar water by name, but it’s not just brilliantly effective for removing make-up. It’s super soothing and calming too. I use it after my second cleanse as a final step in my routine just to make sure my skin is squeaky clean. As well as being fantastic on skin, it’s also the best eye make-up remover there is.”

Super Stay Skin Tint Foundation + Vitamin C, £10.39 (was £12.99) | Maybelline

Adeola Gboyega, Pro Make-Up Artist & SL Contributor

“This is such a great, lightweight base for the warmer months. It has a sheer, luminous texture that's so easy to build upon – but it also doesn't get too heavy, and lets the skin breathe. The added vitamin C helps give your skin a great glow, as well as offering protection and skin-strengthening benefits. Unlike some vitamin C formulas, this doesn't irritate or cause your eyes to sting either. It's a great all-rounder, especially given the price tag.”

Tinted Skin Gradual Tan, £9.33 (was £13.99) | Bondi Sands

Rebecca Hull, Senior Beauty Editor

"I am a bit of a fake tan phobe and am always after natural-looking formulas. This new one from Bondi Sands is my favourite. It's lightweight and applies almost like a serum, so you get a smooth glide and even results. As for the colour, it's subtle, so it's ideal if you prefer a gently bronzed finish. Even if you do want to go darker, it's easy enough to layer upon without the formula streaking. It hydrates your skin too, thanks to fruit oils and cocoa butter."

Glued For Brows & Edges 2 In 1 Wand Gel, £4.75 | Got2b

Zoë Taylor, Make-Up Artist & SL Beauty Contributor

If your brows are hard to tame like mine, this is the secret to keeping even the unruliest brows in place, all day long. It’s innovatively designed to sculpt, shape and keep brows put using a strong hold gel formula. It's affordable and long lasting, and the formula does not compromise quality or care. For example, it’s vegan, free of silicones, alcohol free and dermatologically tested. You do need to work a little quickly with this, but I love how fast drying it is, because it means no stickiness or faff.

Lip Buff, £14 | Refy

Sapna Rao, Junior Fashion & Beauty Writer

This only launched a week ago, but it's become a quick favourite. I’ve long been a fan of Refy’s lip gloss formula, as it's super hydrating and satisfying to apply thanks to its metal tip. The new launch gives the classic lip product an exfoliating twist: made with a unique, textured applicator, it buffs away dry skin while also plumping, hydrating and smoothing. The formula itself is more like a serum, which absorbs into the lips and keeps them feeling moisturised all day. A seriously good handbag hero.

Face Fluid 50, £9.90 | Altruist

Michaella Bolder Celebrity Facialist, Skincare Expert & SL Beauty Contributor

We all know how important a good SPF is year-round, and this one is such an underrated one. I’ve used it for years and think it’s one of the best for wearing under make-up. It never adds excessive grease or a tint to the skin, and let’s foundation blend naturally on top – while keeping the skin protected. Plus, it’s fragrance free and formulated clean, meaning it’s perfect for those on the sensitive side.

Balm Blush Lip, Cheek & Base Enhancer – Charisma Bronze, £8 | Revolution

Rafeeka Khan, Skincare & Beauty Expert & SL Contributor

Retailing for only £8, this is THE perfect product to achieve that ‘flushed’ look for summer. With a seriously flattering terracotta bronze colour, it gives the effect that you’ve caught the sun in all the right places. I love the healthy, youthful punch it brings to my summer make-up routine. I’d recommend applying it with a fluffy brush to the tops of the cheeks, a little around the forehead and on the bridge of your nose for best results. For something subtler, go in with your fingers to warm it up and softly blend it onto just the tops of your cheeks.
