Ruth Crilly: 10 Products I Buy On Repeat
Vita Liberata Body Blur Instant HD Skin Finish, £29.50
Body Blur is the only wash-off tan/make-up/blur product I ever use on my body – especially my legs. It makes it look as though you have the world’s best tights on. Veins, bruises and scaly skin all just seem to completely disappear. It’s acts like an imperceptible veil – once you’ve tried it, you’ll never look back.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Great 8 Daily Defense Moisturiser SPF 35, £30.60 (was £36)
This is the nicest daily sunscreen I’ve found in the ten years that I’ve been blogging. It’s so incredibly light and fresh, plus it actually makes using SPF an enjoyable experience, which is unheard of. It’s thin enough to sit underneath your foundation too, without any piling.
Avaiable at Boots.com
La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Fluid, £16.50
Lightweight and non-greasy, this moisturiser can be used on even the most sensitive skin types, and it’s really calming too, which is why I often use it after a strong retinol, just to take the edge off.

B. Stubborn Make-Up Remover, £3.98 (was £7.99)
Superdrug’s make-up remover is so underrated and easily one of the best on the market. It’s so affordable, but brilliant at removing all traces of make-up, including waterproof formulas.

L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Glow Longwear Foundation, £11.58 (was £11.99)
The one foundation I’ll buy on repeat – it’s a go-to staple for the flawless but natural, dewy finish it lends skin. It also comes in a lightweight plastic tube, which is ideal for those who travel a lot or are on-the-go, like me.

Medik8 r-Retinoate Intense Moisturiser, £210
Consider this the gold standard of retinols. There’s a reason so many experts recommend this: it’s just supreme, and although it’s an investment, it’s so worth it. You’re paying for cutting edge research and the best ingredients out there. I’ve tried plenty of retinols and few things are more effective than this. It gives your face a complete overhaul.

Aromatherapy Associates Bath & Body Oils, £45
Nothing beats these – they are truly transporting, relaxing and everything you need and want a soothing bath and body oil to be. Their holistic, warming scents are really uplifting, too.
Available at SpaceNK.com
Westlab Epsom Salts, £7.99
Often, I’ll use these in conjunction with my Aromatherapy Associates oils. When I can, I’ll buy these salts in ten kilo tubs from Amazon, and because they’re so cheap, it means I use enough each time (a couple of mugs full) to really reap the muscle-relaxing benefits. They also help to soothe weary souls and aid in a better night’s sleep.

Dr Roebuck’s No Worries Hydrating Moisturiser, £30
A new repeat favourite of mine, pump-action moisturisers have always been the way forward for me. No faffy lids and no getting face cream underneath my nails – which really winds me up. The formula is great too, thanks to hyaluronic acid, rosehip and macadamia oil, all of which help to soften, soothe and hydrate.
Available at CultBeauty.co.uk
Davines OI Oil, £35
A true hero in my kit, this is one of the best hair sleeking products I’ve ever tried. You only need a tiny bit applied to damp or dry hair daily, and you’ll instantly see a glossy difference – it just transforms lacklustre strands and gives a little shine and definition, while maintaining unruly frizz.
