Millie Mackintosh Shares Her Beauty Dozen
For Long Lashes…
Ever since I was a teenager, a favourite of mine has been Lancôme’s Hypnôse Mascara. It gives a gorgeous, buildable, full-lash effect, while the jet-black formula is great at delivering depth.
Lancôme’s Hypnôse Mascara, £25
For Flawless Face…
I swear by Chanel’s Water Fresh Tint in Medium. It’s basically a tinted moisturiser, so it feels really lightweight, allowing you to see skin through it, making it perfect when you want your eyes or lips to do the talking. Plus, it lends a healthy sheen to the skin.
Chanel's Water Fresh Tint, £48
For Subtle Highlight…
My Perfect Glow Cream Illuminator is always in my handbag. It gives the right amount of sheen to the skin without depositing too much glitter or shine. I use it to highlight cheekbones, down the centre of the nose, cupid’s bow and a little dab at the inner corners of the eyes to brighten and open them up.

For Nourishing Serums…
Dr Barbara Sturm’s Lifting Serum is one of my newest finds and it lives up to the hype. You apply it after your usual skincare routine, on top of your moisturiser, for an instant firming and lifting effect. I also recommend tapping it underneath your make-up before an event for added glow and a healthy, plump finish.
Dr Barbara Sturm's Lifting Serum, £235
For Fluffed Up Brows…
Messy, fluffed up brows are my thing, which is why Glossier’s Boy Brow is such a firm favourite. It’s so small and compact, so it fits in every bag and is easy to apply on-the-go.
Glossier's Boy Brow, £14
For Shiny Strands…
Kérastase’s Elixir Ultime Oil is a go-to for shiny, glossy hair, especially for red carpet events. I use one pump on dry hair, massaged into my hands, and rubbed into the mid-lengths and ends for a healthy, sheeny finish.
Kérastase's Elixir Ultime Oil, £32.25 (was £43)
For Matte Lips…
A new favourite for me is Tom Ford’s Lipstick in Joe. It’s a subtle, pinky nude with a great, glossy texture that’s universally flattering – not to mention its serious staying power that doesn’t crease, flake or go dry.
Tom Ford's Lipstick in Joe, £31
For Glossy Lips…
The gloss from my Bare Blush Luxe Lip Kit looks so great on top of other shades. I wear it over my Tom Ford lipstick as a finishing touch, pressing it into the centre of my lips for a fuller look.

For Concealing Imperfections…
Armani’s Power Fabric Concealer in shade 4 is great for hiding dark circles, blemishes and any imperfections, plus you only need a small amount. The silky texture is a real bonus too – it glides onto skin for a demi-matte glow finish.
Armani's Power Fabric Concealer, £32
For Feline Flicks…
Effortless and one of the most precise liners I’ve ever tried, Lancôme’s Hypnôse Liquid Art Liner in Black is ideal for perfecting a fiddly liquid liner look. Brilliant for novices and those who don’t have a steady hand.
Lancôme’s Hypnôse Liquid Art Liner, £23.50
For Flushed Cheeks…
I have used NARS Cream Blush Stick in Orgasm for years, and don’t think I’ll ever switch. It’s the perfect mix of pink and peach, so it lifts the tone of skin beautifully for a flush that’s youthful, pretty and believable.
NARS Cream Blush Stick, £30
For Minimising Shine…
Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Micro Powder in shade 2 has a great finish when you want to eliminate shine, but don’t want to matify your skin’s natural glow. I use just a little where I’m oily, so that when the light catches my face, you can still see the radiance created by the rest of my make-up.
Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Micro Powder, £35
