Affordable and efficacious, we can’t get enough of their Salicylic Acid (SA) Body Gel, which harnesses salicylic to gently exfoliate and buff away dead, dry patches of skin. Ideal for those suffering with bumps or under-the-skin spots, it quickly softens limbs while absorbing fast with no sticky residue. The addition of niacinamide counteracts any harsh effects, too, keeping inflammation to a minimum.

SilkWorks London, Pack of 3 Skinny Scrunchies, £18

You can’t move for silk masks, pillowcases and hair ties these days, but not all are created equal. New lifestyle brand Silk Works London’s chic offering uses the highest grade 6A long fibre of mulberry silk – aka, the gentlest kind for skin and hair. Our favourite? These soft, stretchy hair ties eliminate ponytail kinks, reduce snagging and breakage, while also preventing split ends. Essential for anyone who ties their hair up a lot, they make for a great stocking filler, too.

Many brands are cutting back on water consumption as part of the sustainability movement. Tropic’s Clear Slate Powder uses volcanic ash and bamboo charcoal to remove excess oil and penetrate the skin’s layers, shrinking pores and removing any build-up of bacteria. The result is smoother, more refined skin. All you need to do is mix half a teaspoon with a few drops of water, and gently massage it in. Expect your blackheads to shrink, too – so satisfying.

iT Cosmetics Brow Power Filler, £20

This may look more like an eyeshadow, but once you’ve nailed the application, you’ll see why it’s so popular. Essentially a tinted gel, the innovative brush comes complete with small bristles that cling to existing hairs for visible bulk and definition. The key is to wipe the brush off a little before you apply it to stop you depositing too much formula at once.
