MAKE-UP
Charlotte Tilbury Invisible UV Flawless Poreless Filter Primer, £39
Weightless and satin-y smooth, Charlotte Tilbury's new Primer is everything you'd expect. It has a thin texture that never causes pilling and sits well with other make-up, while the added SPF50 is a huge bonus for throughout the day. The best bit though, is just how smooth it makes your complexion look. A little goes a long way, but you'll love how it evens out the appearance of pores and smooths rough tone. The oils, peptides and African mahogany tree extract give serious skin benefits, too, including hydration, protection and a plumping effect. Wear it with foundation, or on its own if you're after a minimal, but glow-y look.

Dear Dahlia Eye Sequins, £25
If you love Stila’s iconic liquid glitter shadows, you’ll go mad for these from Dear Dahlia. With intense shimmer and more of a wet-look finish, they’re one of our favourite summer finds. The chunky applicator makes application easy, while the colour it deposits is always even. The vast number of shades available are a huge bonus, as well – we love ‘Angel Tears’ for a pearly, pink that catches the light beautifully.

Iconic London Radiance Booster, £30
We’re already huge fans of Iconic’s liquid blushers and bronzers, so it’s little surprise we fell just as hard for their new Radiance Boosters. With a dewy dry down, they give skin a thirst-quenching glow, while the soft shimmer shades look luminous worn alone or underneath foundation. The gel-crème texture is easy to play with, too and build up for a healthy, glass-like sheen. Blend using your fingertips or a brush if you want to sheer the texture out.

Drunk Elephant O Bloos Rosi Drops, £30
Just like the Natasha Denona Blush, this is another skincare, make-up hybrid that doesn’t disappoint. The difference? These are designed to work with your existing skincare for extra benefits. Mix in with your moisturiser or serum for a dewy, soft flush and allow the in-built omegas to plump, comfort and strengthen dry skin. Just like the brand’s signature D-Bronzi drops, expect a watercolour-light colour that flatters all skin tones. Just be sure to blend it all over – right up into the hairline, near your temples and over the apples of your cheeks for a day-spent-in-the-sun look.

Natasha Denona Liquid Blush Serum, £24
Another summer staple, this silky serum-like blush gives skin a hefty dose of moisture, while creating a healthy colour as well. Rich in pigment, the shade intensity is impressive, as is its longevity – you’ll find it goes the distance even in sweaty weather. You can apply them with your fingers, but we recommend using a brush to sculpt and add dimension to the face. You’ll find the creamy texture is easy to work with, too.

SKINCARE
Aurelia Balancing Ultra-Light Moisturiser, £30
If you’re looking to make a lightweight skincare switch this summer, Aurelia’s new moisturiser is on to consider. Suitable for all – especially those prone to sensitivities – it uses witch hazel (an anti-microbial ingredient) and vitamin-rich mulberry to tone skin, reduce enlarged pores and take down dark spots over time. There’s salicylic acid in there, too, which helps get rid of any excess bacteria sat on the surface of the skin. Despite all these heavy-weight ingredients, however, it never feels occlusive or thick – just smooth, creamy and hydrating. You’ll notice a difference within just a few days’ use.

Everyday Humans No Problemo Pre & Post Sun Water, £12
Sunburn and inflammation are no match for this cooling water. Brimming with cactus extract, aloe vera and cucumber water, it refreshes and calms skin in just a few spritzes. There are zero parabens, mineral oils or synthetic fragrances either, so it won’t further exacerbate irritation, or cause breakouts. Keep it in the fridge and mist it whenever your skin needs some instant relief.

Keys Soulcare Sacred Body Oil, £25
Full of brightening vitamin C, this quenching, silky oil is an absolute joy to apply. Non-sticky, it absorbs fast, soaking up all patches of dryness at speed. Apply it to elbows, shins, or anywhere that needs a speedy hit of hydration. You'll find the marula, baobab and jojoba oils get to work fast, leaving behind a glossy sheen that's healthy and flattering. You can apply a small amount to the face, too, just be sure to apply using a light-handed approach. Great for adding some subtle luminosity to legs.

FRAGRANCE
Ouai Rue St Honoré Eau de Parfum, £46
Ouai’s cult fragrances proved to be hugely popular when they first launched, so we’re thrilled to see they’ve added to the range. Our favourite? Rue St Honoré, which has been created to replicate the feel of Paris – and originally came out as a limited-edition in 2018. Now a permanent part of the line-up, layers of violet, gardenia, ylang ylang and white musk combine for something feminine, warm and sophisticated. It’s different and guaranteed to earn you compliments.

TOOLS & DEVICES
Aromatherapy Associates The Atomiser, £120
Everyone loves a good room diffuser – not least when it’s by a luxurious brand like Aromatherapy Associates. Their newest launch is waterless and portable, using essential oils to create an uplifting, scented aroma that lingers for hours. It’s quiet, too, with no water tank or heat, which also means the oils are preserved for maximum potency and therapeutic benefits. Extra points go to the slick style, which looks great in any space or on your bathroom shelf.

Holidermie Face Ball, £23
Developed by yoga teachers, sport coaches and facial therapists, this pressure ball was created with unique massage protocols in mind. With a smooth surface and rounded edge, you’re supposed to use it all over the face in gentle, circular motions to sculpt the cheeks and cheekbones from the bottom upwards. It’s ideal for easing tension – especially between your eyebrows – and for stimulating sluggish skin for a brighter appearance. Use it on its own, or with skincare for extra slip. You won’t see results overnight, but providing you’re firm and consistent, you will within a few weeks.

BODYCARE
Bjork & Berries Body Scrub, £32
Here at SL, we love this slick, Swedish brand and their new scrub is as pleasing as we’d hoped. Gritty and heavy-duty, it works well to cleanse and exfoliate your skin with hydrating birch, sea buckthorn and chamomile extracts. It’s brilliant for getting rid of dry, scaly patches of skin, as well as preventing bumpy, red ingrown hairs. You don’t have to worry about it stripping you of moisture either – added rapeseed oil and shea butter ensure that doesn’t happen by locking in hydration for smooth, soft limbs. Use it on wet skin for best results.

Caudalie Vinofresh Natural Stick Deodorant, £13
We’re always on the hunt for a good natural deodorant and Caudalie’s latest doesn’t disappoint. Completely translucent, the glossy stick leaves zero stickiness or white cast behind, while the prebiotic-rich formula hydrates and soothes skin, so it’s great for those prone to sensitivity. We love the fresh, eucalyptus scent, too, which lingers on the skin, leaving you feeling clean and comfortable throughout the day. A brilliant switch to make if you’re wanting to avoid aluminium or synthetic fragrances.

Frankies Bikinis Bronzing Body Lotion, £40
Gradual tans are brilliant in the summer, especially if you’re a bronzing novice, or want an easy formula that’s not too intense. This one from Frankies Bikinis is ideal, as it hydrates and illuminates simultaneously, thanks to sweet almond and avocado oil. Massage it in over your face and body for an all-over glow or use it just on areas you want to enhance subtly – like the high points of your face. You can wear a little on top of make-up, too, if you want an extra hint of dewiness.

Tweexy, The Original Nail Polish Holder
It may look a little ‘teen’, but this gadget’s actually very well thought out. Slide it onto your fingers, stick your polish in the slot and you’ve got a bottle that stays steady no matter where you choose to paint. It will change your nail painting sessions for the better, not to mention make it quicker and more seamless.

HAIRCARE
IGK Dry Volume & Thickening Spray, £23
Thickening sprays can leave your hair feeling heavy and weighed down, but this one from IGK is the opposite. With a featherlight mist, it has a texture that’s easy to build up, so you can layer in as much as you need to create body and density, without worrying about stickiness or stiffness forming. Ideal if you have fine hair or if you want to boost volume before a night out. Spray it onto dry, styled hair and focus on your roots. Then, scrunch it through with your fingers to build extra body and hold.
