FOR A NATURAL-LOOKING GLOW

Strobe Dewy Skin Tint, £30 | M·A·C

If you’re after a new foundation, but want lighter coverage, try this tint from M·A·C. It has a creamy, sheer texture that’s a dream to apply, with a luminous finish that gives skin a healthier look – all thanks to a nourishing blend of hyaluronic acid, squalane and shea butter. It covers just enough – spots, dark circles and redness will all improve – but it stays light and smooth all day with zero creasing or flaking. Unlike some skin tints, it comes in a decent range of shades.

Matte Blush Beauty Wands, £30 | Charlotte Tilbury

Yet another great launch from Charlotte Tilbury, these blushers are definitely worth the hype. Just like the brand’s Contour Wands, simply squeeze the tubes to release a small dab of blush onto the fluffy, rounded applicator. Then, spot the colour onto your cheeks and blend out with your fingertips – smooth and velvety, there’s no need to use a brush. We love that the matte colours don’t budge and offer the kind of vivid, warm flush that instantly revives dull complexions. Pillow Talk is the most universally flattering tone, but there are several to choose from.

Sunset Blush Balms, £21 | Vieve

If you prefer cream or liquid blushers to powders, you’ll love these new balms from Vieve. Sheer in texture, the colours are buildable and we can’t get enough of the wet-look glow. Adding instant warmth that’s believable and fresh, added vitamin C is designed to brighten skin, while vitamin E locks in hydration long term. The shade ‘Cherub’ is our go-to, but they’re all so wearable. A little dabbed over the lids and lips ties everything together.

Natural Bronzer Self-Tan Drops, £15 | Garnier

Fans of Garnier’s Summer Body Lotion will love these new self-tan drops. Just like the cream, they deliver a believable, gradual glow that’s never OTT. Mix a few drops in with your moisturiser or serum, or apply them neat – you can’t go wrong. Unlike some facial tans, these drops don’t feel drying either, thanks to the addition of hyaluronic acid and nourishing coconut water. Great for sensitive skins.

FOR DAY-TO-DAY MAKE-UP

Idôle Ultra Precise Eyeliner, £19.50 | Lancôme

Expanding with new shades, Lancôme’s Idôle liners now come in brown, blue, green and grey. An easy and sophisticated way to wear colour, the advanced formula is designed to last for hours – plus, unlike some liquids, they’re easy to apply thanks to the fine, bendy tip that offers maximum precision every time.

Intensive Serum Radiance Mist, £39.50 | Bobbi Brown

Bobbi Brown’s new serum mist hydrates, primes and refreshes skin – apply it just before your foundation or afterwards to increase its staying power. Either way, ingredients like squalane, glycerine and nourishing oils work together to deliver a hefty dose of hydration and give skin a better glow. Plus, it feels amazing – the cooling texture is so satisfying.

Unlocked Satin Crème Lipsticks, £37 | Hourglass

We’re yet to find an Hourglass lipstick we don’t like – and its latest Satin Crème formula might be its best yet. Full of vegan waxes, mango seed butter, avocado and argan oil, they offer all the comfort of a balm but with serious colour payoff. The clever shape of the bullet hugs the lips to sculpt and define, while the wide range of colours means there’s something for everyone. If you want a daytime neutral, ‘Rosy Beige’ is worth a go, while ‘Lava 322’ is the perfect night-time red.

FOR A SAVVIER ROUTINE

Boost LED Collar, £195 | The Light Salon

Every insider we speak to swears by The Light Salon’s anti-ageing LED mask and now it’s adding to its range with this collar. Designed to treat the neck, lower face and forehead, it uses red light to stimulate collagen, encourage skin healing, calm redness and even out tone. It’s gone through rigorous testing – as has the facial mask – and is proven to slow the ageing process while repairing damage caused by the sun or other lifestyle factors. It’s an investment, but worth it if you’re serious about skin maintenance. You’ll start to see a difference within four weeks.

Adeola X Joy Adenuga: The Flawless Face Edit, £80 (was £120) | By Joy Adenuga

Need some new make-up brushes? This limited-edition set from industry pros Adeola Gboyega and Joy Adenuga is worth snapping up. The well-curated collection of brushes comes with a brush soap that quickly dissolves grime and dirt, plus a clever lid that’s dipped, allowing you to squeeze out your brushes once you’ve lathered them up. As for the brushes, they’re easy to work with and have soft bristles that never irritate the skin – expect a seamless blend, no matter the textures or products you’re using.

Cryo-Tech Facial Tool, £68 | Odacité

We love a good facial tool – especially one that come with extra cooling benefits. This one from Odacité has an in-built Terahertz stone that turns ice cold once dipped in cool water. The idea is to run this around the areas of your face that feel tight, puffy or in need of some sculpting. Easy to use, the tool hugs all your facial contours for maximum pressure, releasing unwanted tension quickly as you glide it across your skin. The gua sha side is best used on larger areas of your skin while the small beaded side works well around the eyes. Use it with a facial oil or serum for best results.

Duet Style Hot Air Styler, £379 | Ghd

Years in the making, this clever two-in-one tool can style hair from wet, so you don’t need to double up on any heat damage. It works on all hair textures and promises faster drying, as well as 48 hours hold of softer, smoother hair. Using Airfusion technology – with an air flow of 150°C, the optimum temperature for drying wet hair – it dries and straightens at the same time for glossier-looking strands with minimal fuss. It takes about three or four passes through each section of hair, but the results are impressive. There’s an added hot air vent which is ideal for drying your roots.

FOR A SUITS-ALL SCENT

Replica On A Date Fragrance, £110 | Maison Margiela

A great fragrance for this time of year, Maison Margiela’s latest drop is seriously covetable. Notes of grape, rose and bergamot provide a summery twist, while patchouli gives it a woody, unisex quality we can’t get enough of. It’s a pleasing take on traditional rose and far from sickly sweet – it dries down with the kind of muskiness that’s seriously addictive.

FOR DRY SKIN

Ceramidin Ectoin-Infused Cream, £50 | Dr.Jart+

Ectoin features heavily in this nourishing cream from Dr.Jart+ to hydrate and protect your skin’s barrier without ever leaving behind a sticky layer. Add to that a powerful blend of ceramides and you have a formula that soaks up dryness and soothes inflammation. Like a big glass of water for your complexion, you’ll find your skin immediately feels softer and more comfortable. The silky texture dries down quickly, so you never have to worry about it interfering with other products.

Sculpted by Aimee, £32 | CloudCream

This cream is also big on ceramides. Perfect for sensitive skin types, it’s full of soothing ingredients that immediately take down redness and alleviate tightness. What we love most is the texture – a whipped cream that feels luxurious and nourishing. Plus, it isn’t expensive compared to similar formulas. Vegan and cruelty-free, it’s gentle and won’t feel too heavy or thick on your skin. A great base for make-up.

Hydrating Facial Sheet Mask, £40 | Skin Laundry

Skin Laundry is home to some of the best – and quickest – laser facials in London, so we’re thrilled to see it expand into skincare. In particular, we’re loving these biodegradable sheet masks which are drenched in vitamins, amino acids and quenching hyaluronate. There’s also niacinamide to ease tightness and soothe signs of redness. Leave them on for 15 minutes for fresher, plumper skin that glows. Ideal before an event or evening out.

Make-Up Removing Oil, £34 | Oh My Cream

If you’ve not heard of Oh My Cream before, get ready to see it everywhere. This silky cleansing oil contains almond, raspberry and sesame oils – all of which cling to dirt and make-up to break it down without stripping the skin of moisture.

FOR A WELLNESS BOOST

Vitality Shower Oils, £40 | WildsmithSkin

These shower oils are full of heady, zesty notes of ginger, black pepper and cedarwood, while the silky texture coats skin in a veil of hydration that lasts all day. The formulas contain special cleansing agents which dissolve dead skin cells at speed for smoother-looking limbs. At £40 they’re an indulgence, but a little goes a long way. Guaranteed to make you feel good, they’re a great addition to any bathroom.

FOR BETTER HAIR

No. 4D Dry Shampoo, £28 | Olaplex

No dry shampoo has had the same amount of hype as this – but it’s easy to see why. Vegan, cruelty-free and incredibly gentle, it’s much kinder to hair than others on the market and, while it does soak up oils and grease, it doesn’t weigh hair down. We admit £28 is expensive, but it’s full of science-backed ingredients that will help detoxify your scalp and keep hair feeling smooth and fresh. A little goes a long way, so you’ll find it lasts you for months.

Leopatra Hair Clips, £17 | The Clippendales

We’ve developed a real soft spot for The Clippendales leopard print slides. Great for pinning your hair back when you do your make-up, they’re chic enough to be worn out of the house. The staple you never knew you needed, they’d also make a good present for fussy friends.
