Ralph & Rice
Haircare meets sustainability in this quirky East London salon. It starts with the choice of haircare they use, Davines – which is arguably one of the most environmentally-conscious brands on the market to date – but the commitment to leading a sustainable salon goes far beyond that. The inside of the salon was designed using cork, which doesn’t harm trees when extracted. Then you have the use of disposable towels that are made out of recycled and recyclable waffled paper, plus clients buying The Essential Line products can come back with empty pots and refill them at a discounted cost. The best bit? It’s incredibly stylish too, with chic second-hand furniture, you instantly feel at home, calm and relaxed – not to mention being in the capable hands of some incredible stylists, too.
