This Month's Editor's Letter

I can’t pretend it’s been a normal month. For so many, October has been filled with a great deal of sadness and worry, so I hope SheerLuxe has brought you some light relief in such a dark time for humanity.

I’ve been very proud of some of the names we’ve worked with in the last few weeks. From a triumphant Gold show with Nadine Baggot to an exclusive interview with Sarah Jessica Parker, October has been the tip of the iceberg – November sees me get into bed with Claudia Winkleman (yes, really), Kate Moss reveal her festive plans, Jonathan Van Ness do our hair and Carine Roitfeld discuss her life in fashion – plus, the LGs have some of TikTok’s biggest stars joining them in the studio over the coming weeks. Speaking of LG, this month we’ll reveal its much anticipated rebrand; far be it for me to share all – instead I’ll let Daisy and Sapna fill you in during their latest vlog here.

The festive period is the perfect excuse to do something a little different, and we’re really excited about some competitions and opportunities to hang out with the team coming up this month. I don’t want to say too much but we’re going to be joining forces with some of London’s coolest locations and top talent to have a little festive fun with you all – keep your eyes peeled…

In the meantime, I hope you have as much fun browsing and shopping our Christmas Gift Guide – live today! – as we did putting it together. I can take no credit – our team have put together the most fun, idea-packed edit that should cover every family member. If any of mine are reading this, a Dôen cardi, Woera PJs and scalloped H&M placemats are personal favourites.

Outside of work, I’m still slogging my way through Demon Copperhead – it’s a brilliant read and I’m determined to finish all 800+ pages before the year is out. In a genius and inevitable move, Liberty has launched fragrances and Wild Rosinda is officially my new favourite scent – it’s like a sexy rose garden (if such a thing exists). Finally, I’m now the very proud owner of a Raey shearling coat, which I have coveted for the last half a decade, so I’m afraid to say I’m praying for colder weather so it can make its debut.
