7:00am
I usually wake up around this time. Even though I’m a night owl by nature, I’m not one for lie-ins – I like to hit the ground running. My days are full-on from the moment I wake up until the evening, which are often spent at the Club. I thrive on being social, which fits well with my role heading up the membership team.
My secret to waking up refreshed is a relaxing hot bath the night before, staying off my phone and having a social media detox before bed. My mornings often start with the sounds of Pip Millett, Olivia Dean and Sophie Faith, who just performed at the Club supporting Hak Baker – it’s the perfect energy to ease into the day.
7:30am
I start my day with a high-energy green smoothie, followed by a shower and my skincare routine – I never skip my SPF50 face cream, no matter the season. My go-to skincare brand is Medik8. I use the Liquid Peptides in the morning and evening, and the Advanced Day Ultimate cream with SPF50 before I apply my make-up. I’ll then make a cup of tea to go in my KeepCup before heading out the door.
I don’t have a fixed fitness routine, as my job keeps me naturally active – I’m always on the move and on my feet. Instead, I take a more flexible approach to wellbeing, fitting in tailored wellness classes like sound baths, meditation or breathwork sessions whenever I can. It’s a style that mirrors what many of our members enjoy – balance, not rigidity.
8:15am
I live in Bow, next to Victoria Park – I’ve been there for over 15 years and it really feels like home. There's a real village-like charm and a strong sense of community. I never leave home without my red lipstick – it’s a permanent fixture in my bag and a signature part of my look. I always use M·A·C’s Retro Ruby Woo.
My commute is just 25 minutes door to door. I walk down the lively Roman Road to Bethnal Green station, then hop on the Central Line to Bank. Being close to the Club is a real bonus, especially after a busy day or our late-night socials.
9:00am
I’m on site five days a week because it’s essential for me to be present in the Club and amid all the action. Our office is within The Ned London and serves as the central hub for the membership team and all the behind-the-scenes operations. Being in Bank gives us the perfect mix of City buzz and stunning, historic architecture.
Our team is a dynamic mix of people, each playing a key role – from curating our diverse events programme and sharing updates through our dedicated communications team, to the member relations team who bring the experience to life daily.
10:00am
My work day is a mix of strategic planning, engaging with members and being on the floor – whether that’s hosting events or simply connecting with our community face to face. I’m naturally focused, energetic and highly organised – qualities that are essential when juggling multiple tasks. I thrive on the fast pace and love the balance between behind-the-scenes strategy and front-facing member engagement.
What I love most about my job is the people – both our incredible team and our members. There’s a genuine commitment across the board to enhancing the experience and it’s so rewarding to see that come to life. One of the biggest challenges is wanting to be everywhere at once. There’s always something exciting happening and I hate the idea of missing a moment.
1:00pm
I don’t follow a strict diet, but I am mindful of eating well and staying balanced. A big part of my role involves connecting with members, so lunch often means catching up with them at our Rooftop restaurant, my favourite at the Club. The views over St Paul’s Cathedral are great and the seasonal menu – often featuring pop-ups in collaboration with renowned chefs – means there’s always something special to enjoy. Otherwise, you’ll usually find me hosting a special event, like our International Women’s Day dinner.
6:30pm
A few evenings each week, I host one of our member events. From cocktail masterclasses to supper clubs and members' mixers, it’s the best way to connect more personally with our community. Outside of work events, I love spending evenings catching up with close friends – many of whom I’ve met through hospitality. We often revisit our favourite nostalgic spots or head to a live gig – we’re all big music fans. Having a diverse line-up of talent performing at the Club is one of the biggest perks of my role.
9:00pm
My style is timeless and effortless. In the evenings, you’ll often find me in a simple maxi dress, high-waisted tailored trousers with a classic shirt, or a jumpsuit. Comfort is key, especially when I’m on the move at events – so I gravitate towards pieces that make me feel confident and relaxed.
I don’t tend to buy designer – living in the East End, I prefer to support local brands. I love discovering unique pieces in markets, independent boutiques and neighbourhood shops. My style is versatile, and I always keep a pair of adidas trainers, knee-high boots and heels under my desk, ready for whatever the day or night brings.
When I’m not at an event, my favourite way to unwind is to go out for dinner. My partner’s a chef, so food is a big part of our relationship – we love trying new openings or heading back to old favourites. After a busy day, nothing beats a great meal and a glass of wine together.
10:30pm
I’m always on the lookout for my next TV series. After our communications team interviewed the stylist from White Lotus, I had to watch it – and I was hooked. I also love rewatching old films for a bit of nostalgia and downtime.
11:00pm
I usually go to bed around 11pm. I have a full evening skincare routine, which includes Medik8’s Crystal Retinal 6. I also like to use my This Works pillow spray before lights out. I need a solid eight hours to stay energised and keep that all-important balance between my social life and work commitments.
The best part of Ned’s Club membership? It’s a true destination for every aspect of our members’ lifestyles – whether that’s business, wellness or social connection. The spaces and facilities are exceptional, but it’s the people and the extensive event programming that really bring it all to life. It feels like a home away from home, where every element of your lifestyle isn’t just supported, but genuinely celebrated.
