Shoreditch

The area between Old Street, Shoreditch High Street and Hoxton is known as Shoreditch Triangle and it’s a mecca for cool, contemporary British and international brands. Popular with commercial clients browsing trade showrooms, there are plenty of consumer options here too. You can find hardware brand Buster + Punch (which started in an East London motorcycle garage) and British product designer Lee Broom. Milk Concept Boutique has been the home of the finest luxury Italian interiors for the last 11 years. A New Tribe is an independent homeware store with a globally gathered selection of interior accessories, while Mosaic Factory’s showroom is a creative and colourful hub where you can discover new tile trends, design your own tiles and take colour samples home. Elsewhere, The House by M.A.H is a renowned destination for art, bespoke furniture, design classics, and vintage collectibles, and Vitra, the Swiss design company, has its flagship UK showroom at the Tramshed building. Solid Floor is a bespoke wooden flooring company with showrooms in Shoreditch and Marylebone. SCP is a producer and supplier of high-quality contemporary furniture, lighting, textiles, and accessories. Possible Mirror is a Spitalfields based designer-maker producing an eclectic range of original mirrors. Lozi, designs and makes its bespoke plywood furniture in the heart of East London. Finally, close by is The House of Hackney at St. Michael’s experience at the London flagship (pictured), which merges traditional appointments with interior innovation, allowing customers to mix and match paints and wallpaper on an interface before projecting the scheme onto a wall to visualise the scheme in true scale, as if it were in your own home.

Newson’s Yard

Newson’s Yard in Belgravia is a high-end interior design and retail hub opening on 1st November. The site has a rich history and architectural background: originally a timber yard constructed in 1840 by London builder John Newson, it now celebrates the best of British craftsmanship, bringing together Nina Campbell, Modernity, & Objects, Plain English and The Lacquer Company. It will also be home to Wildflowers & Wine, an innovative restaurant concept laid out across two storeys. Together, Newson’s Yard will form a place for designers and home curators to meet, create, browse and work. Situated off Pimlico Road – Belgravia’s hub for interior designers and enthusiasts – this is a creative neighbourhood that brings together luxury, world-class craftspeople, artisans, curators and makers into one design district.
