When it came time to reimagine the SheerLuxe set, we called on one of our favourite interiors brands – Soho Home – to create a space that was both polished and practical. Here, in-house interior designer Rosie Welburn explains how everything came together and reveals the individual pieces that will help you get the look…

The Planning

At the heart of the design was functionality. The sofa area needed to comfortably host three guests and one presenter, all while creating space for an inviting, conversational flow. Furniture selection became the foundation of the project – the Winnie armchairs in the ‘Lophelia’ print chosen seamlessly align with SheerLuxe’s signature style. While they add a touch of pattern, they still feel refined and versatile.

The Design Details

The overall scheme was designed to let the people – and their outfits – take centre stage. Neutral, tonal seating grounds the look, while accents of pattern, colour and texture are layered through the rug, cushions and coffee table. The beauty of this approach is its flexibility: the space can be refreshed seasonally, simply by switching out the accessories.

The Soho Home Touch

True to Soho Home’s design identity, marble plays a starring role. Luxurious yet versatile, it brings a natural richness to the set. The Oxley coffee table in ‘Dark Emperador’ marble anchors the space, flanked by Fleet side tables in ‘Verde Bosque’ and ‘Terra Bianca’. A plinth in Brazilian quartzite and the Nelson side table in ‘Breccia Pernice’ complete the mix, ensuring the setting feels elevated, layered and unmistakably SheerLuxe.

The Surroundings

Equally important was ensuring the set worked within its architectural surroundings. Existing panelling was respected, while soft curtains were introduced to add depth and warmth. The result is a backdrop that feels both intimate and stylish – the perfect stage for SheerLuxe’s conversations to unfold.
