What Our Senior Fashion Editor Is Loving This Month

From high street accessories to lust-worthy new collections, SL’s Senior Fashion Editor Charlotte Collins runs you through this month’s must-have, must-know and must-see fashion…

The High-Street Piece

My high-street purchases are few and far between these days, but when they’re as good as this H&M blazer, it isn’t hard to go for it. The brand is so good at making affordable pieces look expensive – I’ll be pairing this with slip dresses, denim and more.

The Brand

I’m always on the look-out for new under-the-radar brands, and Sabina Sommer is my latest discovery. Part of the cohort who have reinvented Scandi style to mean feminine, floaty dresses and cutesy gingham, I love their wrap tops and billowing summer dresses.

The Wishlist

The JW Anderson chain slides went a little too viral for my liking, but this shearling pair couldn’t be more me. I’m hoping they’re a bit edgy so people won’t get as into the trend – they’d look so good with my shearling gilet and some cream joggers come autumn.

The Trend

Move aside the little black dress – this summer it’s all about white, and Moda Operandi have some of the best styles out there. Ruffles, frills, tulle, bows – my wedding may be well be over but that won’t stop me from stocking up.

The Collection

How could I not include Sea NY? Now you’ve probably seen some variation of this collection already, but I still want everyone to know I’m eagerly anticipating the UK launch of the label’s cult new puffers. Forget black or navy – quirky patterned quilted coats are the way to go this A/W.

The Look

Logo print trousers are a bit of an obsession for me and this recent image of Rikke Krefting only confirmed that I needed a pair. Her Louis Vuitton jeans look amazing with a simple knit and sandals, while brown versions from Fendi and Gucci would be so chic with camel-coloured tailoring.
