I really love the monochrome look right now; it’s both fun and chic. The Monki check jacket really breaks it up and the pink velvet bag compliments the blue. Perfect for casual, off-duty days.
Short Boucle Trucker Jacket, £65 | Monki
Chunky Ribbed Top, £30 | Monki
Converse Chuck '70 Hi Trainers, £70 | ASOS
Shirt dresses are really on trend right now and are endlessly versatile. Perfect for modest holiday wear, adding the leopard print denim jacket puts a casual spin on the look that makes it work for everyday too.
Selected Femme Pleated Maxi Dress, £85 | ASOS
Leopard Denim Jacket, £50 | Monki
I’d encourage everyone to try the trouser suit trend. What’s more if you’re not shy with colour, I encourage going bold with the look - pastel colours are way more striking. This pink version is surprisingly versatile and would work perfectly for a girl’s night out.
Checked Blazer, £55 | Vero Moda
Checked Ancle Trousers, £42 | Vero Moda
Button Front Long Sleeved Top, £17.99 | ASOS
Mid-heel Strappy Leather Sandals, £55.99 | Zara
This oversized blazer with a pair of white wide leg trousers and pistachio silk shirt is a great balance of casual and sophistication. The trainers keep it casual but swap them for a pair of kitten heels and it completely changes the outfit from day to night.

My everyday look is... feminine street style with a touch of quirkiness.
I love to layer... Layering adds character and you can really bring life to an outfit when you add colours and patterns. It’s my top tip for dressing modestly but still looking cool.
I’ve bought some great bits for spring/summer already... My favourite has to be the Next denim utility jacket because its super versatile and can also give definition to any outfit. I also must give mention to the strappy white sandals from Zara, which are so on trend right now.
So many people shy away from colour... But it’s all about balance – keep the base neutral, like the top, trousers, jeans or even footwear. Most importantly, make sure the colours complement one another and if feels a little too much then stick to just one or two bright items.
Looking modest on a night out doesn’t have to be hard... An oversized blazer partnered with jeans and a pair of heels is perfect. For something more glamorous, a full sleeve midi dress accompanied by a few jewellery pieces and a pair of open sandal heels always looks good.
Dresses are a great place to start for modest dressing on holiday... I usually reach for maxi/midi dresses that are full sleeves and if possible high neck. Alternatively, I’ll wear a light weighted shirt or denim jacket. Packing a variety of shirts that differ in pattern, texture or colour is a great tip for light layering; they don’t take up much suitcase room and provide endless outfit possibilities.
Great outerwear is essential for... Looking good in a hurry, because it doesn’t matter what is underneath if your jacket looks great. Pair with cool sneakers, statement earrings, a cute cross-body bag and you’re good to go.
