THE EXHIBITION:
Bitches by Daniel Sachon
Photographer Daniel Sachon will reveal his never-before-seen series Bitches at Imitate Modern in Soho from 12th-17th October. The tongue-in-cheek photographs star a cast of famous and fabulous women, accompanied by a selection of dogs that humorously mirror their human counterparts, bringing together women who have likely, at one point or another, been labelled a ‘bitch’, whether because of their beauty, success, independence or self-assuredness. Women in the series include Georgia May Jagger, Ivy Getty, Jourdan Dunn, Leomie Anderson and fashion designer Mimi Wade.

THE FILM:
Emily
Emily tells the imagined life of one of the world’s most famous authors. The film stars Sex Education’s Emma Mackey as Emily Brontë, a rebel and misfit, as she finds her voice and writes the literary classic Wuthering Heights. The film explores the relationships that inspired her – her raw, passionate sisterhood with Charlotte (Alexandra Dowling, The Musketeers) and Anne (Amelia Gething, The Spanish Princess); her first forbidden love for William Weightman (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, The Lost Daughter) and her care for her maverick brother Branwell (Fionn Whitehead, Dunkirk) whom she idolises. The film also stars Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty) and Gemma Jones (Gentleman Jack).

Menu highlights include baked spiced crab with garlic and herb toast; apple-smoked salmon with pickled cucumber and baked brioche bread; and shrimp burger with kimchi ketchup.
