THE EVENT SPACE:
The Greenhouses
The Greenhouses is a collection of nine floral-inspired private dining spaces within the grounds of One Marylebone. From celebratory dinners to a romantic evening for two, there is a greenhouse for every occasion this springtime. The beautifully styled greenhouses reside on the east-side exterior of the Grade I-listed building, ranging from bijou nooks for 2-4 guests to dining spaces for up to 24, with menus taking on a Mediterranean slant. Each is filled with foliage and is named after different flowers.

THE CORONATION MERCH:
Daylesford X Hugo Guinness
To mark the coronation of HM King Charles III, Daylesford Organic will launch a limited-edition range spanning food, homeware and collectable items designed to be kept for years to come. It has partnered with British artist Hugo Guinness to create a ‘Hip Hip Hooray’ collection featuring his contemporary playful illustrations. The range includes soft cotton table linens for tea parties and street parties, white bone china teapots, mugs, tea plates and egg cups, plus woollen egg cosies based on the King and Queen’s coronation crowns. As a finishing touch, matches made using sustainably sourced wood come presented in matchboxes printed on a vintage letterpress in Oxfordshire.

Christian Louboutin’s first hotel has opened its doors to guests. Vermelho is an intimate 13-room hotel in the village of Melides, in Portugal’s Alentejo region, just south of Comporta and Lisbon. The name Vermelho, meaning red in Portuguese, is the perfect homage to Louboutin’s signature colour while the design is a tribute to the natural beauty and heritage of the region. This home-away-from-home includes a restaurant, Xtian, and the Vermelho bar, where cocktails are served in a relaxed setting. Spa treatments and massages are also available.

THE BAR:
Smokey Kudu X Rixo
Peckham’s excellent Smokey Kudu bar has relocated to Chelsea. It’s now set up inside RIXO’s new flagship store on the Kings Road – and has fast become the bar to be seen in. On the cocktail list, we love the look of the Saffa-Rita (chilli tequila, Cointreau, lime and chakalaka salt rim); Umganu Kolada (Smokeys spiced rum, Amarula cream, coconut and pineapple); and the Kudu Spritz (Sipello, elderflower liqueur and sparkling wine).

Additions to the Savoy Grill include the exclusive Wine Experience Room, a walnut-lined private room where hundreds of bottles of the words finest wines are on display. Also launching is a new menu featuring dishes such as Louët-Feisser oysters, Ramsay’s signature beef wellington with confit roscoff onion and red wine jus, and the Savoy Grill éclair with hazelnut, orange and dark chocolate sauce.

THE PLAY:
The Second Woman
Ruth Wilson (Luther, His Dark Materials, Hedda Gabler) is to star in The Second Woman, a 24-hour feat of endurance theatre and live cinema. Starting at 4pm on Friday 19th May, Wilson will perform the same scene for 24 hours opposite 100 different men, non-binary and queer people, as she enacts the same interaction between a man and a woman in a relationship that has lost its creativity and romance. Through these 100 unrehearsed interactions, The Second Woman highlights the nature of gender and power relationships. While advance tickets have sold out, on-the-door tickets will be available throughout the performance.

THE HOMEWARE:
Petersham Nurseries
Petersham Nurseries has dropped a seasonal capsule collection of Murano glassware featuring one-off pieces from the likes of Scavo and Opalino. Founders Francesco and Gael Boglione have been avid Murano collectors for decades, and each of their highly limited-edition releases will feature pieces from their private collection. The colours of each seasonal collection will reflect the hues of the gardens, beginning with cheerful daffodil yellows in the spring, dusty pinks at the height of summer, and rusty shades of orange and umber as autumn leaves begin to fall. The spring release features the likes of bold yellow single-stem vases, crackle vessels, small bowls, wide dishes and sculptured ‘handkerchief’ vases, all sourced from artisan glassblowers.

THE HAIRCARE LAUNCH:
Le Labo
Le Labo’s newest launch is a shampoo and conditioner duo in the brand’s most popular scent – Santal 33. A moisture-rich balm rather than a typical conditioner, the Santal 33 conditioner softens, nourishes and leaves your hair scented just like the iconic fragrance, featuring notes of cardamom, iris, amber and leather. Completely free from parabens and phthalates, the formula uses shea butter, soybean oil and sweet almond to leave hair feeling soft, silky and strong.
