THE CANDLE: Liberty
Liberty has launched its very first scented candle collection. Inspired by four artworks selected from the famous department store’s 145-year-old design archive, each candle is made with natural-blend vegan wax, hand-poured into a reusable glass vessel decorated in a shade lifted directly from the pages of an archive book, and presented in a corresponding Liberty print box. We love the sound of Wild Flowers, a mix of rose, jasmine and earthy cedarwood.

Look closely, and you’ll spot Jones’s dog Cookie on top of the tree.

THE ATELIER: Anna Mason
British luxury womenswear designer Anna Mason has just opened a new showroom in Belgravia, taking cues from Coco Chanel’s world-famous Paris atelier with private appointments, personal shopping, concierge and after-hours services all available. “The pandemic has shown us that luxury retail isn’t only about an online transaction. It needs to be experiential. It’s a pastime and a privilege. You can’t get fitted online. You can't touch the clothes online. My new maison will allow my clients to fully experience and understand the brand, as well as find some inspiration during they visit," she said. Collaborating with interior designer Abbie de Bunsen, several specially commissioned pieces have been upholstered in Anna’s signature fabrics, while paint shade – Anna’s pink – was created by natural paint brand Edward Bulmer exclusively for the space.
