We both love jewellery as a means of self-expression. Before launching the business, we both had several new piercings to fill, but felt frustrated that the affordable pieces didn't last and the fine jewellery was so out of our price range. That’s when we decided to create what we couldn't find elsewhere – a collection of elevated jewellery staples with timeless elegance and uncompromising quality. Initially, we made pieces for ourselves and our friends, but as demand grew, Otiumberg was born.
Otiumberg is a reflection of our own style and life experiences. For example, our signature name bracelet followed the birth of Christie’s first child. She wanted to cast the name she cherished most in gold and it’s since become one of our bestsellers. We never launch products we wouldn't wear ourselves. The brand is so personal, it just wouldn't feel right. We evolve each collection intuitively to create jewellery that empowers women to feel more confident.
Personalisation is key to Otiumberg. Our hand engraving service, diamond alphabet pendants and name bracelets give our customers the chance to add a deeper meaning to their specifically chosen pieces – so they can really be cherished for a lifetime.
Our community started with our friends. But today, it’s grown to include so many incredible women – from actress Anna Shaffer to chefs like Ixta Belfrage, and even influencers like Millie Mackintosh and Laura Jackson. It’s been such a joy to see each of these women make the pieces their own. It’s not just women, either – we couldn’t believe it when Paul Mezcal wore our men’s chain on a run through his local park. That’s what prompted the launch of our unisex collection earlier this year.
A lot of the brand’s evolution has happened through collaboration. Most recently, we launched a four-piece earring collection with the Australian ready-to-wear brand Camilla And Marc comprising three cuffs and an ear pin, all of which can be mixed and matched. Three of the pieces require no piercings at all, so anyone can experiment with the stacked look.
The piece Rosanna has been wearing a lot recently is the Lower Lobe Ear Cuff paired with the Pavé Double Ear Cuff. Together they create a bold and elegant look, which can take an otherwise simple and minimal outfit from the office to a night out.

Growing our brand is something we take very seriously – and we’re not just about bigger profits. This year, we’re investing time into our B Corp application – a process which will help us to become an even more responsible business. Also, we’re excited to announce a new charity partnership as part of our annual giving fund, which this year raised almost £10,000 to support displaced women and children through the Choose Love network.
