The Fashion Event To Book Now

Fashion week has notoriously been an industry-only affair, with style fans having to rely on magazines and Instagram coverage to get their fashion fix. But this season, London Fashion Week is opening its doors to the public, giving unprecedented access to the coolest shows, designers and clothes.

What does ‘open to the public’ mean exactly?

Whilst it doesn’t yet mean you’re going to be able to stroll into the Burberry FROW, those not in the industry can purchase tickets to watch a seriously exciting selection of brands showing their new season pieces.

Which brands are opening their doors?

House of Holland and self-portrait are the two most notable names on the roster. The brands will be showcasing their AW19 collections, as opposed to the spring/summer designs typically demonstrated during September fashion week - plus, the collections will already be available to purchase.

What can you expect to see?

House of Holland is the epitome of cool, Brit girl style, so you can expect fun, frivolous autumnal fashion. self-portrait is an affordable luxury label with a cult fashion girl following – evening wear is its bread and butter, but statement knitwear and quirky asymmetric separates are worth looking out for too.

Where can you see the shows?

The public-facing shows will take place over the weekend of London Fashion Week, with three time slots on Saturday 14th September at 10am, 1pm and 4pm and on Sunday 15th September at 10am, 12:30pm and 3pm.

What else is going on?

The catwalk shows are part of a larger immersive London Fashion Week experience taking place at the official London Fashion Week Hub. The experience includes a variety of shows on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September, creative installations, industry-led talk panels from experts, the DiscoveryLAB (an experiential space where fashion meets art, technology and music) and a newly relaunched Positive Fashion Exhibition, where guests can discover new creative brands and progressive designers, explore compelling stories and learn about how the fashion industry can be used as a force for change.

How much does it cost?

Standard tickets are priced at £135 and front row tickets at £245.

Any added extras?

Those familiar with past London Fashion Week events will know the British Fashion Council guarantee a host of perks, from complimentary tote bags to VIP lounge access.
